I got pregnant when I hit the 40 pound weight loss mark, finally into a healthy bmi and no longer overweight. We had tried for a while previous to the weight loss.

Just like everyone else said, you absolutely do not need exercise to lose weight. Years ago when I started mfp I weighed 180... I lost 40 pounds in just 4 months sticking (with lots of cheating on weekends lol!) to 1200 calories a day. I am only 5'4. I'm sure you need to up your calories a bit, but as long as for the most…

I'm just doing the shred, finished day 8 yesterday. Did my measurements and I'm down about 5 inches total off thighs, arms, waist, and hips! In 8 days! Seriously can't wait to see what the full 30 does. If you have the energy/time doing both is surely better than doing one, but if you have to choose I would pick the shred.

It is tough and I was doing it during nap, but as you know there is really so much else to do lol. The past few days I have made them participate with me! Kids do what they see to an extent... If the school is advertising/serving unhealthy foods or proportions they will probably assume it is ok. The same goes with at home. Me too... The only thing that has helped me is to plan out and log my entire day's worth of food beforehand... I try to do it the night before (when I'm on track with mfp ).
