Try a lighter, longer workout if your usual bothers you. The hormones in your body will actually support a very long walk or run if you can do it. But don't stop just because your bleeding!

I dropped from 230 to 168 before I had my first child. I am done having babies (had two in 5 years), and am now working on getting back to the 160s. At 184 this am Fat cells make estrogen which can confuse your cycle...my dr told me to lose weight as well. Best of luck to you!

Just want to add that your body processes alcohol before it processes food...which means that you are more likely to end up storing food calories instead of using them...that means less weight loss. Do I drink? Absolutely, but I'm a social drinker, so maybe once a week.

I liked the lunge so much with the bar that I tried step-ups with a bar...I wish you could have seen the looks I was getting :noway: :huh: lmao. However, my wrists do NOT hurt at all after working out today even with push-ups and jack-knives.

Just wanted to come back as follow up...I did split lunges yesterday instead of standing, and used the barbell with plates instead of dumbbells.
