  • This I can do, I actually just started C25K last week so defiantly will be doing lots of walking/power walking
  • I had a landlady who did this to her kids ONCE because they never ever ever would pick up their rooms or put up their laundry. She took all of their toys and most of their clothes (leaving enough clothes to wear threw out the week, they would have to wash them at the end of the week to have more clothes) put them in trash…
  • Its hard I feel like I yell at my daughter a lot right now too. Shes 2 and me her and my husband/her dad are living with my mom in a home that isn't baby proofed in the slightest. She used to have the run of our house before we moved (states, which is why we are staying with mom) because we had completely baby proofed it…
  • My daughter isn't even two yet and she is all the time asking "Are you ok?" even at moments when its not applicable!
  • Amazing, will send request as I do love silly humor :)
  • Hah I forgot I can't stand dark meat so I'm the exact opposite :)
  • I forgot that I hate Hate HATE dairy milk. For real it tastes disgusting now, I had to give it up for a year because my daughter was breastfeeding and intolerant to it so I'd been drinking soy milk (which admittedly sorta tasted like cardboard at the beginning) and then moved on to almond milk so when I tried to drink cow…
  • LOL! My husband is the same way! He always gives me the tomatoes off his salad because I love them and I always give him the cheese because I hate it (and he calls me weird for it!)
  • If you have room gardens are awesome, can't wait for mine to start producing so I can stop buying them at the store (not that I buy organic but still!) lol
  • I really like yogurt but there was this one kind we bought at Kroger for awhile called Carbmaster (husbands friend recommended it because it had a crap ton of protein in it and the husband is trying to gain weight via muscle) and it tasted like straight up cheese which made me gag so bad because I can't stomach any cheese…
  • This is true, I should get up and move when I feel like munching. Now that I'm thinking about it I know there have been times where I've gone to the gym hungry and not been hungry after getting out.
  • Will keep that in mind, I have some tea in bags but its not green tea.
  • I never count anything but water to my water count for the day, everything else gets thrown into the diary though idon't often drink anything else as I actually carry a liter water bottle with me at all times with filtered tap water.
  • I can eat pizza till I'm blue in the face so I know what you mean there, that bread with the french bread wasn't meant to be there I forgot to remove it after I added the sandwich to my meals so I could just use it in the future because the honey wheat is normally how I eat those not the french bread it just happened to be…
  • Yup thats exactly what I do and its terrible. I'm trying to unlearn it but its something I've been doing for a very long time now so its going to take some time. I'll see about the mints though because I know what you mean, after I brush my teeth I don't want to eat anything at all lol
  • Yup I do lately, its kinda what I flock to when I'm stressed/comfort eating without thinking about it but I still have to log it. Even when I'm eating veggies and fruits I just feel like I'm starving and need to eat more. I can't wait till the garden outside starts producing so I can just walk outside and get that instead!
  • Oh thats a good idea, I know fiber is meant to make you feel fuller for longer I never thought about that. I usually tend to drink around a gallon of water a day :)
  • Hah no I defiantly don't want to take Adderall, I have ADD too and was on Ritalin as a child which kinda zombied me.
  • I just eat when I'm hungry, my diary is set up in blocks of hours instead of meals so that I can see when I tend to eat the most (usually the evening) and be more conscious about it.
  • I love peanut butter so much! When I'm craving something sweet I usually do a PB and Honey sandwich on honey wheat bread, I've also been know to just eat it without anything else lol
  • I hated running before starting this and C25K is pretty much intervals of running jogging but the jogging gets longer with each week. Its really made a difference for me :)
  • I love C25K, I'm on Week 5 right now! It used to take me forever to do just a mile and now I can at least get to 1.80 in a half hour, looking forward to day 3 to see if I can do the 20 minute run without stopping!
  • I think you should just run at whatever speed is maintainable, I'm only getting 1.80 on mine but I always go 3.0/4.0 because thats what I can do. I try to push it sometimes but for the most part I just get so winded if I try to do the entire thing at 3.5/4.5
  • Welcome to the Week Behind Everyone Else club! I just did W5D1 yesterday too :)
  • He tried everything else before they offered up the surgery except the steroid injections (his doctors don't view them as a real solution) so hes been dealing with it for something like 8 months now. Will defiantly give a update on how he is doing.
  • Ended up doing an extra day since I had to stop early on my day 1 of week 4 but I got all three days in this week and I did it without having to stop :D Starting W5 today, don't know if I will be able to get C25K in next week because of my husbands disc replacement surgery but I'm going to try.
  • Did W4D2 yesterday, sort of? I only did half of day 1 and have to do the other half today, maybe I will just do another full day instead! I'm really enjoying this being able to run for 5 minutes without being completely winded thing even if I had to knock it back down to 4.0 from 4.5 to do it :)
  • Dunno about the excess skin but even if you get lipo the remaining fat cells can grow bigger and take up the room of where the missing fat cells were if you just let yourself go once reaching goal weight so even though those are gone lipo won't keep you from gaining the weight back at all.
  • Ok so I dd part of W4D1 yesterday (16 minutes) because we didn't have time to stay 30 minutes due to my husbands doctors appointment so I'll have to finish it today! I am still sore from Yoga on Monday, did not expect that and its defiantly making it more difficult but I was able to do the first run at 4.5 :D
  • I don't know about health wise but I think almond defiantly tastes better (mostly use it for cereal) and I can't stand cows milk now at all. I actually have to ask my husband if the milk is still good each time I use it in cooking because it even smells gross to me.
