Why don't the minutes match up to the minutes of duration on the dvd's?

I've seen several people refer to the pause button as your friend. DO NOT PRESS PAUSE, you can take a break when you NEED to, not when you WANT to...don't miss the whole point of INSANITY! It is MAX INTERVAL TRAINING at its best.... you take the MAX INTERVAL out of it with pause... even if you are not keeping up with them…

Set up a profile on Bodybuilding.com ... great site with alot of information and several members are actually in the mags and do shows. They will respond to comments in forums also. Several real users are in LA this week b/c the site is putting on a show to select their 2013 spokes models. Its not an over the top site and…

If a machine you are using does not allow for weight adjustment, it is most likely displaying the calorie burn for a 180 pound individual. I have a Horizon EX-57 elliptical in my home gym and it does not allow for me to enter my body weight. The calories displayed at the end of my workouts are UNDER those that MFP offer…

Don't get discouraged... shake up your workout and focus on core body movements...

I think you should re-read your own post and then determine if you should take yourself seriously. What a joke.

I just started taking LIT-UP. It is a pre-workout formula without creatine. I prefer to take my creatine seperately just so I feel more comfortable knowing that I am getting the amount of creatine I want without under/over doing it. So far, the LIT-UP is does the trick; however, as with all PWO formulas, it won't take long…

Both pics? Guess I need to change my profile pic... Thanks!

If you have to ask, the "friend" in question should be deleted. Easy for me to say though... I only have 3 friends... hahaha.

As stated several times, soreness is not an indicator of progression. If you recall, when you started weight training, you went through stages of soreness after working every body part. It's also referred to as "breakdown". When you start a program, you recruit fast twitch muscle fiber as well as the core muscle you are…

Body Tech Whey from Vitamin Shoppe. All flavors are pretty good, it mixes well and tastes good. Not too expensive either. jfield6 - Walmart has a great shaker cup with a metal mixer inside for 4 bucks, I've been through all kinds and it is one of my faves.

Add me too!! anyone... I started off with a bang, then... 2 days off turned into 3 weeks. I'm back now and need some friends...it may make it harder to fade again... Thanks!

It'll take your body about 2 or 3 days to "get back to normal" after the elevated intake of fats and sodium. And, I don't know of any "Wing Nights" that do not include a few cold ones, that too may add to the weight retention. Try this, If Wing night is Thursday, change your weigh in day to Wednesday, that will give you as…

Stand your ground bro... hubby and wife workouts are meant for the bedroom! The gym is one's personal sacred place for the ultimate "me" time. That is why there is only room for ONE on all the benches and other fine equipment. If fitness was 'her' thing before, then she should understand the real reason people go.…

It doesn't quite average out like that. Your BMR may be 2400; however, you dictate that by entering your daily lifestyle activity level. If you were sedentary, then, the BMR would not be 2400. Also, don't assume that 100 calories is gone every hour as your energy expenditure is different throughout the day. First, it's…

Awesome bro... really amazing. I'd say keep it up... but, obviously, you are determined to begin with... you got it!!! Good stuff.

First thing first, weight-training provides more overall benefits than cardio. Anytime you can "fit in" weight-training is time well invested. The bonus of weight-training is that your body will continue to burn calories for several hours after the session is over; not the case with cardio. Your BMR gets a kick in the…

I think its hilarious reading all of the comments saying "I don't pay attention to anyone else and what they are wearing, I'm there to work!" ... That is crap. It's in our nature to look at others around us.. thing about the wreck on the interstate... more often than not, part of the biggest delay comes from those slowing…

Thanks. I wouldn't say I was upset this week; however, was a little deflated after losing 2 lbs... Seeing that picture, I'll gladly take a 2lb. loss, 2 handfuls of that nastiness is outta my body!

38 in September... does that count?!

Mentally. If you are walking on a treadmill at a speed of 3.3 mph, its a decent pace. Go to 5.1 which is just enough to make you move your arms and get out of the "speed walk" and into a slow jog. 5.2 mph is a 11.5 minute mile, that's SHORTER that 3 songs. Pick 3 of your favorite songs that take you away to a time you felt…

"uneccisary"... ??? How did you even get accepted to a college? I know, I know... that was mean and I should have refrained. Just trying to help you out in the future the next time you decide to post for some advice on an open forum. Anyway, 10 shots of Vodka is about 1000 calories. Regardless of what type of alcohol you…
