A sandwich made with multigrain bread, lite mayo, 1oz. lean ham, 1 oz Swiss cheese, and romaine lettuce, with grape tomatoes, bell pepper, cucumber, and onion on the side.

Congratulations! I am so happy for you! Just stick to your healthy eating and exercising life style so you won't do what I have done all my life which is ride the diet roller coaster.

BMR 1668 Goal 1550 I have my goal set at 1 1/2 pounds a week, but try to eat most days so that I loose 2 pounds per week. I average between 1300-1400 most days.

I lost 35 pounds using WW points plus. I think it is a good plan, but decided I could do it on my own and not have to pay a monthly fee. In looking for a place to log my food, I found Myfitnesspal. I just switched to MFP about a month ago, and have done great. I like using MFP better. For one thing, it is free, and also,…

I plan on eating just the way I am now for the rest of my life.

I took a quick look at your diary, and I think your doctor is probably right. It looks like you are eating too little and not the right things. Even if you go on maintenance and keep eating the things you are now you probably wouldn't be getting the nutrition you need. From what I can see, you need more fruits and veggies,…

2200 sounds like way too much to me. I am 75 pounds from what I want to be and probably 85 from what the charts say is a healthy weight. I have to eat a little over 1300 cals in order to loose 2 pounds a week. 2200 is close to what I would have to eat to maintain. Also, are you sure your exercise calories burned is…

I just lost 35 pounds on WW. The only problem I see in your plan is that WW takes a moderate portion of fruits and veggies into account when they figure your points just as they do your 49 extra points for the week. If you don't count it you will probably go over your calorie goal.

My positive is that I walked longer today than I did yesterday.

There seems to be a lot of controversy on this subject. It sounds like you are doing great doing what you are doing. If you are losing weight and feeling good, why change it? BTW I love your picture!

What a great idea! Thanks for sharing it.

How about carrots, radishes, squash, cabbage, cucumbers...

I eat both potatoes and sweet potatoes baked in the microwave pretty often. I just put a little salt and pepper on them. They are good for you and filling. In fact, I am trying to eat more potatoes because they are high in potassium and I need more of it in my diet.

I just switched from Weight Watchers and I think WW and MFP are very similar. They are both based on good nutrition and learning new, better eating habits so that you can also keep the weight off. I think WW is a good plan, but I can do the same thing here for free, and I think MFP data base is much, much better. I haven't…

I record my weight every time I have a loss. It is encouraging to see the numbers ad up on the ticker as the pounds go down.:flowerforyou:

I would have to say my George Foreman grill. I cook almost all of our meat on it. A close second would be my digital food scale.

I love HyVee lite yogurt. They are creamy and have pieces of real fruit in them.

Why not just choose what you will enjoy most and ask for a to go box. Put half of your food in the box before you start eating so you won't be tempted to eat it all, and bring the rest home for another meal.

If you are pressed for time and it is a choice between a fast food burger and one of these meals, then I would definitely pop one of these in the microwave.
