I understand what you are feeling. It is something that I struggle with every day, however like everyone else has said seeking help is your best option. As a side to that I would say that learning some distraction methods would be a good idea as well, like writing or singing, or just sitting outside. Feel free to add me if…

I try to do the same thing. It does sort of help me. I'm just not sure if helps more mentally or what.

I am also trying the 16/8 type. I am not sure that I could do total days on vs days off. I am just not sure how to make it work. I like doing the IF because I already feel like I can feel the benefits like having more energy during the days. I'm just not sure how to make it to my calories... or do I need to eat that many…

Maybe with eating at a calorie deficit also try changing up your walks. Do bursts of high intensity walking for 30 seconds and 1 minute of walking regular. Changing it up may help. Also your body will get used to doing the same exercise all the time so I would suggest even going on YouTube and looking for some work out…

This is really helpful thank you. I think I'll be looking for some more information on what exercises to do but putting together my own routine will be great.

I am just starting this and wondering about how it all goes and what kind of results to look for.... any suggestions or tips?

OK that helps because every video I look up it looks like they are doing 4 or so exercises and repeat. My knee problems are made worse by the weight (started by falling down stairs). I am just looking for ways to amp up my exercises without putting too much strain on my body... if that is possible.

I can do those things yes :D

I'm pretty sure I just laughed a pound off. Here in Canada it would be bring me your biggest moose lol.

I love the walk away the pounds series. I've used them for years. I love that they are easy but give you a good work out. I've only been able to do I think up to 3 mile but that is more because I kept writing on myself. Right now I am using them sporadically as I go outside or to the gym. I would also love to know which…

For me I log shopping because it is not in my normal. Basically I log anything that isn't something I would do everyday. My exception would be if I am doing vigorous house cleaning.

I am still working on eating at a deficit. I am getting better at it I think but there are still many days where I am failing.

I also have IR and my sugar levels are always normal. I still take metformin however, though they are giving it to me to see if it will help with the weight loss. You all have so much information. I am glad to be reading this. I never would have heard of the supplements... Question about them though.. do you take them…

I am curious about the naturopathic way of things. What is inositol? where can I get some of these things? That sort of thing

Anyone can feel free to add me :)

I don't have diabetes but I do have Poly-cystic Ovarian syndrome which can lead to type 2 diabetes... I have a lot of the key markers for becoming that way... though my blood sugar is usually around 4-6 (normal range). I don't want to be doing a diet that is not really sustainable I want results that are actually going to…

I get it. I did the same thing. Not all that impressed with myself. Note it is back to working harder than ever

Dh and I are also in the same boat. We have been unofficially trying for 3 years and officially started trying on the 31 of October. We have to meet with a specialist as I have pcos however it is the needing to lose weight that I am struggling with. I have a lot to lose. My doctor hadn't put a percentage on what he would…

I can say that I understand. I have bi polar and social anxiety disorders. I have also struggled with eating disorders for years because of them. I'm also over 300. However I think there is how. I have started to life a little bit of weight by using mfp. I make small exercise goals for myself and try to watch what I eat...…

I hear you all on this. My husband has lost 12lbs and 2 pant sizes doing nothing I mean literally nothing. I however had a week of not watching to closely what I was eating and enjoying the Christmas banking process and a few parties with some drinking and gained 8 lbs in a week... What seems wrong with this? I am enjoying…

Thank you ladies.

I really like the fitbit flex that I have. It syncs with MFP. I haven't tried it with other trackers but I do like what I have found so far.

That is awesome way to go! Yeah I wouldn't want to hold up the other amounts either, that would be really heavy and probably awkward to hold... though funny how that can be transferred into the weight we carry every day. All that to say good for you :D

Thank you for replying. Jose that is amazing. I hope to be as successful. I'm not sure about detoxing but I know I'm more of a jump in type person... So far without too many issues. I guess I just want to know more of what people find successful and if I'm doing the right thing. Your replies do help though.

The logging I don't have an issue with. I log even my not good days. I just find that I am not overly hungry right now and so I find that grazing seems to work. I like that others are still having chips and chocolate. I know you need to burn it off but it does make everything feel a little more normal. I appreciate all the…

Well that gives me hope.

I am getting used to measuring and weighing. The planning I am still having a hard time with. I am working on not buying any junk to bring in the house. Not helpful on the days you would kill for chocolate lol.

It is nice to know that I am not alone. Thank you for some really good suggestions for food. I always looking for more.

I have Bipolar, ptsd, social anxiety and struggled with bulimia and self injury for years. I'm finding that trying to eat right and exercise is helping a bit with keping me stable. It is true we can do this!
