I stopped adding sugar to my coffee. I'm only three days into it but I'm hoping to feel better. I was abusing the sugar with at least two sweet coffees a day.

I have donated boxes and boxes of my items this year (clothes, books, dishes, jewelry, etc.). I still have two things that hold me back on keeping my home decluttered. One, I'm really bad about going through a box of things and only getting rid of half of it then putting the box back in the same spot....so I really didn't…

Just discovered this thread! yay me! I like to eat a large quantity for my midday meal. I enjoy bringing a huge salad with lots of stuff in it to work. Today's is a can of rotel, tomatoes, onion, bell peppers, shredded carrots, shredded cabbage/broccoli slaw, topped with a can of chicken, chickpeas, and a few walnuts. I…

Yes! I've had a lot of revelations about my life while riding my road bike. I'll be on a long ride and by the time I'm done I'll usually have worked out some problem I was thinking about. No other workouts have that affect on me though....hmmm.

I had a sales associate in Victoria Secret tell me that the size medium pants I had picked out would shrink. I still have them and have to roll them down a few inches at the waist because they are too big now and no they didn't shrink! I also had a catcaller scream "Ride fatty" while I was out riding my bike. Some people…

I used to have a KISS mug that read "This coffee is hotter than hell" on it but I broke it:( This is my new mug:)

I did that the other night. Ate dinner while it was storming then it immediately cleared up so I went for my 50 min run. Big mistake for me anyways. I felt like my food was up in my throat during the whole run. Note to me....easier to run on an empty stomach. :)

Sorry, my tri is in Augusta...lol. I am so nervous about it I saw (and typed) August but thought it was Augusta. I'm up to 22.53 miles now. I'm moving up to 3 swims a week this week so maybe my totals will get better.

I did an open water swim last Friday and I'm so congested that I might miss out on my swims this week:( Oh well. I'm signed up for an open water swim in August too! followed by a bike and run! Woohoo!

I agree with pre logging it to see if you can fit it in! I leave room for snacks. I snack around 3 pm (before commuting home) and I snack after dinner. Mostly just popcorn, dark chocolate, and sometime fruit.

I am also stuck at my desk all day for 9 hours a day. I pack all my food. I do leave some in my desk drawer but nothing too tempting. I bring cut up veggies that crunch so I'm getting that crunch that I like. I usually bring cut up bell peppers, baby carrots, and fruit. I also bring yogurt or cottage cheese and fruit for…

I took a few lessons to get back on track and it made all the difference. Now I'm a little more efficient (still not great) and I also made friends with the swim instructor. Plus, go on YouTube and watch a few swim videos for free. I like Total Immersion. They teach you how to swim calmly :) Happy Laps!!!

I've found that if I get up earlier in the morning that I have time to let the coffee kick in and have that BM :) sometimes two BMs if I'm nervous. I treat long runs, long bikes, and races the same......I get up early (say 5 am) and that usually works for me! One thing that really works for me (not promoting it just saying…

I use a Garmin 910 and yes swimming doesn't burn many calories. Here are some of my free style totals; 1725 yds. = 286 calories, 1900 yds. = 300 calories burned. This is basically with very little rest but I do stop at the wall and propel forward. I figure I swim to slow to stop and rest..lol. I'm training for a half…

Me too! I am so crazy about my curling iron in the mornings that I unplug it and put it in it's bag and take it with me to work. If I can see it in my floor board then I'm good. I also check all appliances before leaving the house.

My quirk is that I have to have my side of the bed covers tucked in. No exceptions. I've threatened physical harm to my OH once or twice over it >:) His side is free to be un-tucked but don't touch my side!
