I have the Garmin forerunner and LOVE it!! It does my calories and if I wear my hrm it does that as well!! I run as well and would be lost without it!!

It is a personal opinion thing. When I work out I eat most of my calories back but not all of them. Some people on here don't eat them back at all....it really depends on what works for you. That happened to my husband once and come to find out he popped a rib out of place. He had to go see the chiropracter (sp?) and once they popped it in he felt fine. I'm sorry that happened to you!

I was the same way!! I HATED running and then last year I just started. Since then I have done 2 5K's and have another one on April 16th, and I have just signed up for my first ever Half Marathon!! Congrats to your accomplishment!!

Welcome!! The support here is awesome!! The nice thing about counting your calories is that you can eat whatever you want as long as you have the calories for it!! I love food as well and this site has really helped me! I wish I would have found it when I first started my weight loss journey!!

I run a little bit not anything close to a marathon!! Good luck with that by the way!! I just got rid of a blister and know how you feel I tried EVERYTHING....I found a band-aid brand blister protecting thing that worked wonderful and it would last 3 or 4 days before I had to replace it!! If you are burning that many calories then you need to eat more than just 1200 calories!!!

You are totally right I have been very hard on myself the last couple of weeks and as a result of that I have gained 3 pounds which isn't a lot but not worth it!!
