  • In Basic Training there was an eyeball in my fish. I was so hungry and scared to say anything, I just ate around it.
  • Same thing happened to me. I hate that tag feature! I was mortified enough to actually ask my sister-in-law to delete the photo. Very embarrassing but hey, when I get to my goal weight I am going get new photos taken of me looking terrific and spam the hell out of facebook. Good luck on your journey :)
  • I've been eating more for a week now and it's working. I lost nearly 3 lbs last week after weeks of losing only 1 lb per week. Feel free to add me!
  • I'm about where you are! I lost 58 lbs and have 45 more to go. For some weird reason, when I look in the mirror, I don't realize I am still fat. I have to look at photos of my full body to remind myself that I still have a long way to go. I guess it's because I feel really healthy now. But yeah, I'm still pretty chunky and…
  • I'm 5'10" and have a 6.25" wrist and it says medium frame 142-156 ideal. Sounds okay to me as my goal weight is 140. Right now I am 186 lbs with a 6.25" wrist so I'm thinking I'll easily be a 6" wrist soon which would put me at small frame on this calculator and 132 lbs. My ultimate goal is 130 so that works too. I've been…
  • That's part of the problem with GMO. They are modified to have the pesticide grown right into the plant.
  • Hi! I keep seeing posts about this group in the forums so I finally decided to give it a try. I lost my first 50 pounds eating 1200-1300 calories and doing intense exercise. I fell off the wagon after months of hard work and gained some weight back because eating that little is no longer sustainable for me. I've been back…
  • Asian ball-jointed dolls. They are a major obsession of mine.
  • Lately, Guns & Roses by Lucky Dube. Base line on that song is nice. The top 25 on my ipod is almost all Reggae. There's like two new age songs on there too.
  • That is insane. If someone lives in an area where it is that hard to get apples, he/she needs to move lol!
  • I only wear elastic to work out in. I started out weighing 243 and wearing a size 20. I'm at 189 now and wear a loose 16. I could fit my hips, butt and thighs in a 14 but my waist is still a couple of inches too big. It sucks being stuck between sizes!
  • Your hair is super gorgeous. I just cut the last couple of inches of relaxed hair off. I still have a ton of hair so I just went with it. I have no idea what these different hair types mean. I haven't really researched natural hair at all. I just know I like my waves and my hair is a lot healthier without putting the gunk…
  • If I ever get even a four pack, I am going to do it at least once... My only peave is when people wear the type of sports bras that look like lingerie style bras with no shirt over it. That looks so tacky. There was actually a plus sized lady in one of my fitness magazines doing exactly that. I felt kind of embarassed for…
  • You have a gorgeous face and now the body to match. You look wonderful, happy and full of life!
  • I was 243. Now I'm 190 and working towards 140 so I know what it's like to have a large amount of weight to lose to get to goal. You can add me if you'd like. I'm on here every day and like to give people encouragement when they need it!
  • 13% is pretty standard for credit cards now. After 2008, most card companies tried to "renegotiate" even A+++ customers' interest rates by saying their rate would rise to 13-17% if they continued to use their cards. The only way to avoid the higher rates was to cease using your credit line (which I did and am lucky to be…
  • Wear bigger pants. Problem solved.
  • I have scoliosis too. When I joined the Army, I couldn't do one single sit up. My muscles had just never been trained to do one so I had no idea how to even call on those muscles to sit up. I practiced sit ups in my bunk at night. The soft surface really helped. I ended up being able to do upwards of 50 sit ups in 2…
  • :flowerforyou: For all the men, women and children hurt by the idiots of humanity.
  • I had a similar experience with an MD. Thought I was looking for sympathy until the blood work, which I insisted he complete, came back. I had an e. coli infection that could have killed me had I not demanded treatment. That pretty much ended my trust in the medical professionals of today.
  • I work out at home. I just traded in my half cage for a stationary bike and I'm getting great results with it. I also have a dumb bell set that goes to 20 lbs so I've just started with that. I'm using the 10 lb weights to start off. I do yoga videos and all kinds of cardio videos too. I get bored with cardio really easily…
  • Doctors are wrong...all the time. You have the will and you already know the way. You CAN lose weight. You already ARE losing weight. Find another doctor that will be supportive of your new track to health. Add proving her wrong to the list of reasons why you want to lose weight and carry on!
  • You look fabulous. And all you wonderful looking women in the 160's-70's are making me re-evaluate my own goal because if I can look as good as you do at that weight, then I'll be very happy there.
  • I have no idea what science says it's supposed to do but when I take it I don't have joint pain. I just ran out of fish oil the other day and won't be getting more until the end of the week so I'm wondering if any joint pain/swelling is going to come back by then.
  • Cardio and then more cardio. My hips, thighs and butt are losing all the weight right now. If only I could get my waist to catch up, then I'd be in a smaller pant size for sure. I do 8 miles a day on the exercise bike. I try to keep the tension up by doing intervals. Today, I did four and a half minute intervals of high…
  • Her fiance probably has some good life insurance on her and has his fingers crossed.
  • I love that picture! Your whole upper body looks awesome. Way to go, you, for proving those doubters wrong. Love it!
  • I love Sweatin to the Oldies! Definitely get a hrm because the amount you will burn will vary greatly depending on how much you weigh and how much effort you put into it. When I first started Sweatin I would burn over 800 calories per workout but I was a lot heavier and out of shape then. Now, I will be lucky to burn 500…
  • You live in my neck of the woods assuming you mean the honeywell and amex around the 101 and I17. I have lived in this neighborhood for about 3 years now and hate to say it but it is in RAPID decline. When I first moved over here, crime was non-existent. There are crap loads of burglaries, assaults and even a very brutal…
