^this was a very interesting article. my thoughts were going toward to much fast food, restaurants availability, including our food stores/markets providing an array of "quick foods" to take home. We really do need to get back to the basics.

Yes ace bandage worked for me. I wore them when I wanted to continue to work out at a slower speed. I know prefer the elliptical to avoid them all together. I purchased the pro-form and have not regretted it for the past 5 years:)

Da Vinci Zero Calories Syrups are my best friend. I'm a coffee snob and starbucks (pike place only) was all I wanted. Today I've switched to a non-brand french roast. When I got them it was both legs. I wrapped my shins with ace bandages for about 5 days while using the treadmill and slowed my speed during those days.

It appears that this "habit/ritual" can be maintained on your MFP log. If you love it so much then allot it/them in your meal plan.

The best I can recommend is let her know that you want to cook too and swap meal ideas...win, win? Let her know you love her and then mention that you REALLY want to cook for her to give her a break?

alicamode, Eggs baked in avocado with hot sauce...I now can say I've seen and heard all about the ways to cook eggs. Everyone else posts I've done.

I get it. You need motivation. It is hard to muster up. Only you can determine when it is time to take the steps to be more active and regroup. I agree with everyone's post don't beat yourself up! Baby steps will work. Losing weight is not linear. XX

Coffee is my thing with 1 tbsp of creamer. I've just stop using sugar since my creamer caramel macchiato (yum) is sweet enough for me. I have decaf with the same creamer for dessert too.... I do love ice tea, especially Starbucks iced green tea smile:

^^love this idea^^ usually I'll put in all the way in the back of fridge, no one here looks in the back. The down side (or depending on the person it's an up side) I forget about it and it goes bad..

Is it that simple? Really? I have often wondered why I was sooo hungry some days and can barely eat all of those calories. This probably explains my issues.

Also have someone take the scale and only return once a week. Choose a designated day and keep at it.
