Haha we're all thinking it! The girls wearing tons of makeup prancing around, afraid to break a nail always make me laugh! As well as the people on their cell phones. If you're just out for a leisurely stroll to blab on the phone for an hour, do it elsewhere! Sometime looking to run a 10K could use that treadmill... Oh,…

<my profile pic is a before and after pic...it's not the FULL before picture though. Didn't take one! The bigger pic is from August 2012 (wedding day before I got dressed) and the slimmer pic is about a month ago. I started just doing cardio but hit a plateau after loosing my first 5 lbs. I had a session with a friend who…

Yeah that's bogus. I've lost a bunch of weight since incorporating spin class into my regular exercise routine. I've especially notices that I've lost weight in my *kitten* and thighs which is perfect! haha

I'm addicted to spin class too! My gym offers classes every day - but the times that work for my schedule are the Monday, Wednesday, Friday classes at 5:30pm. Gives me a great workout after a tough day at work and burns a ton of calories! It's the same instructor on each of those days and she's great so that helps a lot I…

I was having the exact same problem. I bought Addidas "climacool" socks that have venting and also sprinkle foot powder inside of them prior to my run. The biggest help of all was getting new shoes.... Now with it all combined I'm happy to say I'm blister free!

Born and raised in Ontario - now living in Richmond BC - any fellow Canadian's feel free to add me!

I'm going to see Black Sabbath tomorrow night... chances of me staying sober are slim... so much for back on track this week :drinker:

I'm the same - I can only ever be on or under my calorie goal on days that I run. I can't run every day - usually every second day so on my off days I try to watch my snacking and be sure take the stairs at work (20 flights) rather than the elevator!
-
Like many others have said - you look great! I'm 5'7" and right now weigh around 150 lbs - I'm happy with every part of my body EXCEPT my stomach. It just seems like it won't go down - some days I swear it's gone out more. I've had two complete strangers on separate occasions ask me if I was pregnant. Complete assh**les of…

I keep a bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips on hand, and when my PMS chocolate cravings are raging, I have a tablespoon or sometimes two. [/quote] ^Sorry but this is horrible advise. I once ate an entire bag of chocolate chips due do an extreme craving. It's hard to just have a tablespoon or two, especially when you have…

I am 26 years old and my goal weight is 135 ilbs. That could change once I get closer to that... i agree with what some others have said though, dont get too caught up in the number. If I feel awesome at 145, that will be my new goal weight!

Same for me.

I enjoy running outside rather than on a treadmill. It's a bit harder on your knees though but a good pair of shoes should take care of that problem. I like to mix up my cardio exercise so I run 2-3 times a week and throw in a kick-boxing or aerobics work out in between. The aerobics includes body sculpting with light…

Bought some Asics yesterday along with some Adidas climacool socks - totally solved my problem! The socks having venting in them as well as the shoes. I ran outside in the sun yesterday afternoon to test them out and it was the first time I had no blisters or numbness in months. Plus they were just super comfy shoes and…

Cool, thanks for the info! Might have to resort to mini ice packs in my shoes :)

I've been doing most of my running outside lately to take advantage of the hot weather but the past few times I've gotten a blister on my left foot and my left foot as gone completely numb about 3/4 of the way through my run... not really sure what the deal is with that but I'm hoping new shoes will take care of it...

Yeah I've been trying to drink water and vodka with low cal mixer like crystal light to make it not taste awful but I'm so used to just cracking open a can or bottle of beer and being good to go. Guess I'm just lazy! Mixing drinks sucks, especially when what I really want is the beer. :frown:

Not sure if I can remember them all without looking through all of my tickets stubs...but I'll have a go at it: Metallica Alice in Chains x 2 Iron Maiden x 2 Cannibal Corpse x 2 Slayer x 2 AC/DC Black Dhalia Murder Kylesa Motorhead Clutch Megadeth x 2 Ozzy In Flames Job for A Cowboy Black Sabbath Heaven and Hell Down…

Hmmm. Quality over quantity you say... I should give this a try. Although I find it difficult to limit myself to just a few once I've had a few and when I'm at a party or function where alcohol is being served. Guess that's my age showing...

I keep seeing people saying to fit your beer consumption into your daily calories...I've got my goal set to only lose 1 pound a week but unless I'm drinking the ****ty low cal beer, MFP explodes when I enter in my beer consumption! Beer to me is like chips..you cant' just have one. On a Friday or Saturday night having 12…
