Yes I am getting there fast with OHP too. I'm up to 26.5kg with it. This is my second round of doing Stronglifts. I think last time my record was 27.5 kg. Need to do some reading about technique as I'm sure that will help. I have the Starting Strength book so I use that plus youtube videos. The whole hip thrust thing while…

I'll add you :)

Added :) Added :)

Yes the longer run times are hard, I'm not going to lie. It's all in the mind and you have to stay focussed. When it gets tough I tell myself it's better to say I did it than to say I gave up lol. I just started week 6 yesterday. Yes the end of week 5 is hard going but it's so rewarding when you do it. Makes u feel like…

I'm doing the same as what I did last time. I did have to run outside for one of the runs tho cos the gym was closed. Did Week 5 Day 2 before this work this morning. It starts to get serious next run lol

I've added you guys :) just started week 5 after work tonight. It went well :) i did it outside instead of the treadmill Just take it 1 workout at a time x I also had to pull out of a half marathon this year cos i got that virus. I was up to 10 miles at xmas and now i'd struggle to do a mile lol

It's lovely to see so many people doing C25K. Hopefully we can keep each other going. That's week 4 completed for me now :)
-
Will send u both FR's. I'm going to do the last run for week 4 in a bit. Wish me luck
-
Added :) just done wk 4 day 2 after 3 nightshifts. Was so so hard!
-
I'm also doing it on a treadmill, just as i did last time. I'll send you a FR.
-
Going to force myself to the gym and start week 4. I just hope I can do it having only had a few hours sleep after a night shift
-
Yes, just do it. What's stopping you?
-
Do u think u are running too quick? That causes problems with my calf if i do x
-
Why are you struggling?
-
So glad to have met some others who are doing it. Im resting tomorrow as I've been to the gym the last 4 days and i need a break but i'll be back to it on Thursday :)
-
Added you both, Strong and Rags2 :)
-
Thanks for the add :) i'm glad you are enjoying it. I am too. It's hard but I'm looking forward to getting to the stage where you can start to run a bit longer

Thanks Melissa :)

I think it helps with endurance definitely, but I found my speed naturally increased without too much difficulty after I built up my distance beyond 5k. I forgot how tough it can be. I think my body is feeling tired today because my HR was up before I'd even done anything haha

Thanks for your post, that has cheered me up and helped my confidence reading that. I haven't ran for 3 days due to 16 hour working days and icy weather. I'd usually still go out anyway but when the gyms are closed before and after i finish work and there's black ice outside it's just not worth the risk of injury. So I…

That's what I figured. I'm having a step back week this week having ran 8.4, 8.4 and 9.3 miles on my last 3 long runs. Time to ease off a bit before pushing on again. I've got 8 weeks to go so i'm hoping to run at least 12 miles once by then. If i can run 13 miles before then even better! I don't think there's anything…

That's what i'm thinking - distance over speed. So I'm just taking my time. I'm up to just over 9 miles at the moment distance wise. I've had issues with tummy cramps once I get to about 8 miles but I'm hoping that will subside once I get a bit more used to the distance What did u get tendonitis of?? I'm running 3-4 times…

Hello, i also signed up for my first Half Marathon on 22nd Feb. I was about halfway through a 10k program I was repeating just to try and get my running fitness back up after having to cut back on my runs for a couple of month. I tend to follow Jenny Hadfield's programmes because they suit me better. I've looked at Hal…

I'm down to a 32E now but have also ran with an F and G cup before I got down to a low weight. I always buy Shock Absorber. The product code is B4490 but they have recently changed it to S4490. Maximum support right there :) Also, the Shock Absorber Run Bra is also very effective. Those are the ones I use and I would never…

32 year old 5'8 female here from Cumbria. I'm about 154 lbs currently. I have about a stone to lose after putting a bit on. I kept up with my exercise though so still quite fit. Just need to get back into a routine with my weights and I'll be back in all of my old clothes in no time. I log daily and have an open diary but…

i started with body pump classes at my gym and went from there

15 lbs would be lovely

Sounds harsh but I would probably go, especially if they were just bumming around every day stuffing their face and letting themselves go completely. I like to be quite active and healthy so I would find them frustrating and impacting on my own enjoyment of life so they would have to go. This is assuming they don't have…

You can add me. I have a busy lifestyle and am a student radiographer, although I actually finish next week and will be starting work soon :) But yeah, I've managed to keep up with my healthy eating and exercise all the way through uni except for a 3 month period in the second year when I was struggling with life in…
