I like using runkeeper and strava. I've only just got back to running after two years out so I'm doing couch to 5k again. I'm using an app called "one you" or something like that and it's really good and helps keeps you motivated during the running bits

i read books about different lifting programs which i find motivating if that's what you mean. I like Mark Rippetoe - Starting Strength is good to start out with. also like Jim Wendler's 5/3/1 books. They guide my workouts and motivate me too :smile:

I am 5'8 and have lost weight in the past netting 1850 calories yes and eating back my exercise cals on top of that. So I'm sure you'll be fine :smile:

I used to have this problem also when I worked nights. Sorry, I don't have any tips for you. I would often have a humungous breakfast when I got in before going to sleep but yeah, it wasn't easy getting the calories in.

Well, i've just split from my partner 5-6 weeks ago and have been the opposite. My appetite disappeared and I was barely eating. I lost over a stone just like that. My appetite is picking up a bit now and I have the energy to go and work out so I feel less crappy about everything. Maybe you should use all that excess…

I'm in the same boat - I have anxiety and depression and have gained weight since it all began. Some of it is prob from meds but I'd say it's mostly due to lack of motivation. Exercise helps for sure. Feel free to add me
