Try Endomondo or RunKeeper

I'm in the UK, 31, 5'8 and floating around 154 lbs +/- 1-2 lbs. Shooting for 143 lbs so if I have a twin out there add me :)

I can see a big difference. You have slimmed down a lot on your face, neck and tummy quite noticeably. Also, your posture is totally different. You hold yourself more confidently and upright without the extra 16 lbs and so it also makes your upper arms seem smaller too. Just think what another 16 lbs will do :)

I don't like the music on the app so I just checked what I was meant to do for each run using this site: http://www.nhs.uk/Livewell/c25k/Pages/couch-to-5k-plan.aspx

Nice recipe :)

I used to just give in but the past few months I have literally told myself to get a grip and that it's not worth it. I know it's not easy though. Maybe try to workout more to counteract the extra choc or whatever you're eating to minimise the damage

I'm doing C25K, albeit a little further ahead than what you were looking for. I'm on week 8 and do all my workouts on the treadmill. I used to go jogging quite regularly but got out of the habit so thought I'd give this a whirl. I actually think it is easier to run outside compared to on a treadmill as u have distractions…

I also have a low RHR in the mid-40s and use a Polar HRM with no issues. When I workout my HR increases to what you'd expect to so it's not an issue. I wasn't aware there was a default RHR on the Polar watches unless I'm reading this wrong??

I log in every day and am here a lot throughout the day most days so if anyone wants to add feel free. I'm 31, no kids or anything, 5ft 8" and 153 lbs. Got 10 lbs to lose to reach my goal so if I have a twin out there or if someone just wants support and motivation then have a read of my profile and add me if you want

Great article, it has certainly put my mind at ease that I'm heading down the right track!

I've ordered some CLA tablets that i intend to start taking next week along with some thermabol which apparently raises metablism. Went with the caffeine free option so fingers crossed

Great post

I went straight into Week 3, give it a try and if it's too much then go back a week. I just finished week 3 today and will be starting week 4 on the weekend

Hi, I also have asthma and similar allergies so I know where you are coming from. Speak to your doctor about it just to make sure but I manage okay. I struggle sometimes with a bad chest but to be honest I think that was my own fault for not using my prescribed inhalers as and when I should have been. I'm not a fan of…

It's all going well so far and I'm noticing that my HR is down a lot and I'm finding the runs much easier. Hoping to do W3D3 in the gym tomorrow morning before uni

I'm reading A Passionate Love Affair With A Complete Stranger by Lucy Robinson. Absolutely loving it. she's a new writer, it's only her 2nd book as far as I'm aware but she's so good :-)

I have the FT60 and mine has started doing this recently. However, I've had it 3 years and there has never been a problem so I think I probably just need to buy a replacement strap as they only last so long. The only time the readings used to go haywire was if I didn't wet the strap enough or it was a bit too loose. Next…

At the moment I'm doing alternate days of cardio (which is either C25K or an easy gym session, e.g walking, bike, ergometer etc) and strength training e.g Body Pump classes. When I'm back at uni next week I may switch some Body Pump classes for a home workout dvd such as The Firm: Total Body Toner which is purely using…

Have a look on my friends list, I recently added a fair few starting C25K :) I just did w2d2 this morning
-
I search "c25k" and when it can't find it I click on "add additional exercise" (or something like that) which is near the bottom of the page. Then input your data and save it and it's saved as one of your exercises

Wow, thanks for all the replies and comments guys :) I'll check out that support group too I'm sure x Oh, I've sent out friends requests as well.
