you could look up German Volume Training on Bodybuilding.com....I definitely came out of it substantially stronger BUT 11 days isn't much time at all AND you can not be new to lifting to do this. A note though...a mud run isn't all about strength, it is about grit and perseverance...kind of like boot camp...all strengths…

Slow down...seriously to go from nothing to 10 minute miles...that's asking a lot...try 5mph (12 min miles). And while I didn't use it, I have heard that C25K is excellent.

4 weeks is not enough time to judge...keep going for 8 more weeks...make sure you are eating enough...running burns some real calories.
