First one, not first one ever, first one in this group...1 min. Might have done better if I didn't decide to do it right after dinner...but then again maybe not :-)

If they don't have a fat free dressing ask for a lemon...squeeze that on your salad with a dash of salt and some pepper...great emergency low (very) cal dressing

Wow! This is the most helpful thing I have seen all day...seriously...I thought it was just me. There are times when I am full and I have a taste for a specific food...weird stuff . Like the other day, I HAD to have watermelon sour patch and popcorn (wth?)...I ate it, and logged it. I have found that when I want a certain…

Yeah I hate to use the word "only" because working out for 5 weeks is an accomplishment to be proud of. But there is a quote, “It takes 4 weeks for you to notice your body changing, 8 weeks for your friends to notice, and 12 weeks for the rest of the world to notice. Give it 12 weeks. Don’t QUIT!” So you reached the first…

I am running on my off days...it has been hard because that is less running than I am used to so I feel like I'm falling off. I am lifting 3 days a week, running on 3 of the off days and taking Sunday off. I assume that you are lifting twice a week since you are starting your second week on A2? Is that right/ Are you doing…

That is so cool!

I'm 5'9 and I rock heels pretty much daily. I am 5'9 so I am taller than most of the guys I am around (generally) anyway...what's another 4 inches? Honestly, I have never even thought of myself as "tall"...I just always thought everyone else was short :-)

Ice (i like to use frozen peas) your shins right after running, take some motrin (or another anti-inflammatory), and go to a running store to get fitted for shoes. I mean a real running store, not a Foot Locker....they have folks that run and understand the biomechanics behind running.

Freakin' Awesome man! What an inspiration! You look great....`10 years younger at least! That is so wonderful...congratulations!

Wow...great results. Congrats on sticking with it! It really paid off

A-3 Tomorrow!!! Yay!...I will look like a female superhero in no time! I may have to break out the Wonder Woman costume.

Keep working that jackknife...I found that doing it in front of a mirror (facing the mirror) squared it away for me...

I, for one, am totally coveting your abs...I am working on it!

No tips...he isn't going to make it till he is ready to. He can't quit for anyone else...he has to decide on his own that he can do it. 12 years ago my husband said "I am not going to bug you about smoking, I am just going to say that I want you to quit because I don't want you to die. I don't want you to die without me…

For all of the fabulous quitters out there....I quit smoking 209 days ago! I used the Quit Now! app on my Android phone. It is free and it keeps track of a bunch of things...quit date and time, cigarettes not smoked (4177), money saved ($1253.00), etc. I am a dork and the little achievements you unlock as the smoke free…

Week 2 Stage 1...workout B2...not too shabby...I was a little sore last week...well not sore-sore, more like I could tell I had been working. It has been a while since I have done dead lifts...I noticed that in my hamstrings and my bum :-) All is well...pressing on to A3 on Wednesday....

I have been using both for almost 2 months. WW makes it a little easier if you are just getting started with weight loss. Also, there are a lot of prepackaged foods available with points values on the labels. That is helpful, especially when buying snacks (no one can live on carrot sticks and celery forever....a girl needs…

I have been lifting pretty steady since January...so I am not sore. I can tell I did a little somethin' - somethin' but I am not crawling down the hallway and taking advil or anything :-). I ran this morning...you are good for your jog. Looking forward to tomorrow, deadlifts- it has been a minute since I have done those.

I would have walked in the living room swinging that padlock at someone's head...ok that may a bit much but seriously I would have a WTF talk with my family....

We can be friends and keep each other on track...accountability always helps me.

I am 5'9 and I am looking to be 145...I am 148 now...so close...I may not make it all the way. I am okay with that, I just want to physically smaller and I am lifting heavy so maybe i won't lose another pound, but I would be thrilled loosing a dress size:-) I am not as concerned with the number on the scale...I am more…

Good job! You have a lot to be proud of.

[/quote] "Been lifting since January but these pics are one month apart. I lift 3Xs a week, run maybe 2Xs a week for 45 min or so. I used New Rules of Lifting for Women and the Strong Lifts 5 X 5 programs. Squat 170, DL 130, BP 90 hoping to keep upping those numbers. I'm 5'9" and weigh 151 wear a size 6/4 jean. I am eating…
