Before I opened this up I was going to tell you squats. Lol. Maybe try riding a bike for a little while then going back to squats later? You can also lay on your side and do some leg lifts.

Yeah I I failed to mention this this is only true with access alcohol. 3+ 1-2 is actually beneficial with 1 being the most.

I was wondering the same thing myself so I looked it up online. It seems that beer for whatever reason blocks your fat cells and prevents them from being burned. A coating if you will. No thank you. I've really limited my alcohol content since reading this.

Get used to it. People who aren't willing to make the sacrifices to do what it takes to get in shape will envy you. This will not change don't let it keep you in any way shape or form less motivated.

Lean Fish and Chicken helps in satiety, add in some vegetables and you got yourself a healthy meal that should suffice for hours.

Congrats on your success. My name is David I weighed 415 pounds around the beginning of the year last year. I had somewhat of an Epiphany myself. I lifted weights, rode my bike and ate a healthy diet. I'm currently at 230 pounds. By the way, I'm also from Griffith, IN.

I feel the EXACT same way. Even though my friends don't say much, I feel they could care less. I'm excited about this journey and wonder what it will be like in a couple years. Started out as a diet, I liked it and made it a lifestyle change. Feel free to add me if you want.

I don't know about everyone else but I log fruit because of the sugar content. I know it's healthy for ya but it's still sugar. I think she may be right with the vegetables. I don't think anybody gained any extra weight by eating an extra bowl of Broccoli or Carrots.

Blast the music on computer. I workout in my room. I don't like to do too much. It takes away from the intensity.

I'm 6'4 230 lbs and I go around 16-19 mph. I usually burn around 515 calories for 30 min. Hope this helps? I use a HRM. I also put it as vigorous effort and most of the time it's within 15 - 20 calories of MFP.

I cut out soda last February and have never looked back. At this point I don't miss the soda at all. Sometimes I do however miss Root Beer Floats. MMM.... Root Beer Floats.

I feed off the negativity. By people telling me I can't do something that only makes me want to accomplish it 50x more!

Cinnamon is also known to lower the blood sugar and to make the digestion of meals slower. Both very good things. I try to take at least a Tablespoon a day.

Drinking water boosts metabolism and if you drink it really cold you get an even bigger boost (3%) to your metabolism. I used to hate to drink water but it's so important for muscle growth and exercise that I forced myself to drink it a lot and now it's not so bad.

I can relate after losing 155 pounds in 1 year I get a lot better sleep. I'm not tired all the time. I actually haven't even gotten a cold but on the downside of things, I was hit with a reality shot on how cold the winters actually are. I'm cold all the time.

On most days I get in 2 - 1 hour bike riding session at vigorous effort. They usually burn around 1,000 calories each. I think I would actually starve to death on a 1,200 calorie diet.
