There is no way your ldl would ever be 2300 that isn't even possible missy get your facts straight mine was 199 and thats high with medication it is down to 83. and if your ldl is really that high you better get on meds because no amount of dieting is ever going to bring those numbers into normal range. just sayin

I agree with you on the menopause does not make you gain weight. Here is what does happen naturally our stomaches seems to gather fat around the middle and I find I am hungry for sweets but if you watch and exercise the weight gain that people think comes from menopause won't happen.

If you are exercising you can eat more calories personally I think 1500 cal is a good amount for anyone needing to lose 20 pounds or more i ate this amount on weight watchers and lost 23 pounds so relax up your calories and eat healthy,
