Workouts while back is healing?

I injured a muscle in my lower back a week ago. It's finally not excruciating but I can definitely still feel it and it is sensitive. Are there any exercises I can do while I'm healing? Any weight training that I can do that won't hinder the healing process? I hate sitting around!

    I wouldn't go near weights until your pain free. The pain can effect your form and result in a worse injury. Walking, stationary (recumbent) bike, moderate elliptical, should be okay, just be careful and take it easy until your back is 100%. Good luck!

    It depends - tweaked my back a little and front squats and good mornings helped rehab it quickly.
