I agree that you should work the larger muscles first. Many trainers will say that you should do weights first, then do cardio for a more effective fat-burning workout. I didn't always stick to this, as sometimes it takes more mental energy to kill yourself on the weights first and followup with cardio.

When I'm working in the evenings, I start jogging 15 minutes after I wake up 7-8. If I work in the AM, I do a longer jog in the evenings. On the weekends, I workout in the AM, about 15 minutes after I wake up. I like to do cardio in a fasted state, plus, if I push my workout to the evenings, it's easy to find excuses not…
