  • I see it this way. Hopefully you are wanting to lose weight to be healthy and not die at a young age. What is the point of being healthy and living long if you are no longer able to go out with friends and enjoy urself???? two possibilities to do one or both. 1. plan out what you will eat where ever you go and adjust your…
  • Nope not at all. I ate at On The Border last night and enjoyed every little second of it. I am one of those people that don't understand how people can no longer eat out and not enjoy it. Luckily I also enjoy eating healthy foods so I don't go out to eat much but when I do I love it.
  • Everything here is seasonal but if I had a choice I would eat watermelon every day of my life in fact a few times a day every day of my life! I will say I favor juicer fruits then non juicy.
  • I am all about pre planning. Can you either cook before you go and take it with you are can you plan a meal get stuff you need for it and cook it together? maybe I am a control freak but at this point I don't let anybody other than myself plan meals for me.
  • right now I focus just on calories so this probably wont work for people who focus on other stuff but..... lately I have had basil in my garden so I made lots of pesto. I have thin sliced turkey breast smeared with a bit of pesto and wrap a piece cheese in it( normally I use mozzarella cheese), crackers depending on how…
  • Weekend I cook up a bunch of steel cut oats(I normally put in a drainer and rinse off after I cook it) and put in small containers, then top with about 4oz yogurt various flavors. Then any morning that I eat it I cut up about 2-3 oz of what ever fruit goes with the yogurt and boom done. I can eat it at home, at my office,…

He can cook the regular recipe9cut in half) and you can cook the made over recipe(cut in…
  • I cant stand clutter either but the closest cabinets to my reach have everything I need other than my food scale that stays on the counter
  • This is what I am eating at this very moment for breakfast. Its a parfait. It will require more that 10 minutes but you can make them in advance and make 5-6 at a time. For each serving I cooked about 1/4 dry steel oats, once done cooking I put into small container add a container of Yoplait light yogurt what ever flavor…
  • TOTALLY!!!!!! I remember the days of being able to stop at fast food places and ordering something for lunch and moving on with my day. Now I have to drive around figuring out what is around that actually has something I can eat. So I end up spending my whole lunch period driving around aimlessly. and before someone says…
  • If I did a lot of blending and had the extra money to spend I would get the Vitamix also but......for what I do I really like the Ninja.
  • You are correct they still make mine but with a different set of blades I think but it works just like mine does. I know this seems kinda silly but qvc(a on tv shopping channel) has all these blenders. If you go to their web sit and search for ninja you can pull up all the blenders including the one you are thinking of. It…
  • I have a master prep ninja system. Comes with three containers and a motor you place on top. I make a smoothie in my every morning. Chop carrots every week for a salad and various other things. I LOVE my ninja. I bought this before they came out the regular looking blenders. The only problem I see not having the reg…
  • I listened to a Americas Test kitchen radio show and they tested 3 different kinds. Yoplait was the absolute worst! Fage was the best.
