My "ultimate goal weight" is a good 20 pounds above where I would be consider to have a normal BMI. It is also about 20 pounds less than I have ever weighed as an adult. Honestly if I get back to my lowest adult weight, I will be happy. Technically overweight but happy and healthy. I think I could get to my ultimate goal…

Walking extra at work or taking a walk during lunch. Taking an evening walk or bike ride with the husband and/or kids. Anything is better than nothing has always been my moto. :)

OMG! This is so me. lol I use to take a prescription hydro pill for my blood pressure, but once I lost the weight I had to continue taking it because I still retain so much water that my ankles will swell so much that they hurt to walk or even rotate and my fingers will swell tight with my rings leaving indentations. Heat…

My go tos for grab and go are turkey pepperoni, jerky, string cheese, almonds, mini baby bell cheeses, tuna salad packets. I also try to make extras for dinner to take with for lunch the next day. I also make big batches of soups and chilis and freeze in individual portions so they can go straight from freezer to lunch box…

I am 3 1/2 years out (November 2011) and initially lost 147 pounds, but because my diet sucks and I don't exercise like I should, I have gained around 30 pounds in the last 2 years. I really need the accountability and a big kick in the *kitten* to get myself back on the wagon with good eating habits, drinking my water and…

I actually chew gum frequently and have no issues. Just try to not take in too much air chewing and definitely make sure not to swallow your gum. You'll be fine.

Kickboxing but I have to go to a class. I had a bag at home and videos and wouldn't use them. It just wasn't the same. There's just something about beating the crap out of something that makes it fun. lol I actually take a women's fitness class and it is a combination of kickboxing and cardio/toning exercises. It's a great…

We cruised in May on Carnival and I maintained. Typically we would do the breakfast and lunch buffets and then dinner in the dining room. The buffets are easy and have lots of healthy choices and never feel the need to eat everything they serve you in the dining room. We found that we did alot of walking and we limited our…

How far out from VSG surgery are you? I noticed a big change around 8 months in how much I could eat and then again at about 1 1/2 years another drastic increase as well.

I live with my husband and two kids. I don't deny any of them their treats. Yes you may try keeping them in a cabinet instead of on the counter where you have to look at them each time you pass through the kitchen, but just because you don't want to eat chips, crackers and candy doesn't mean they need to not have it…

There are a few high protein cereals out there, but Idk if they are lower in carbs than regular cereal or not as I haven't really looked into them. Original Fiber One is extremely high fiber for the calories and carbs in a serving. I know a serving is only 1/2 cup, but definitely not anything I'd overdo on.

Ole Mexican High Fiber Low Carb tortilla wraps have 90 calories, with 5 grams of protein, and 9 grams of fiber. I like these make wraps with turkey or ham and cheese and whatever veggies I like. I also like to use them to make a low carb, high fiber, high protein quick quesadilla.

I had weight loss surgery too. Most days I hit 120+ grams of protein. I primarily eat meat, cottage cheese and cheese to reach my protein goals. I round out my diet with low-carb wraps (good source of fiber and some protein) and vegetables and some fruit. I don't know how far out you are from surgery, but 125 grams can be…

5 pounds or more for me. I have gone up as much as 7 pounds overnight about a week before and the weight holds on until about 3 days into my period

Depends on what you are looking at. I only base mine on not wanting to drink my calories so I opt for diet soda and/or Powerade Zero. Definitely Powerade Zero when it's hot and I'm outside sweating. I switch between this and plain old water.

Oh chips and salty crunchy things are my weakness too. I try not to keep them in the house and as others have said you just budget your calories for them so you can have them and get a single serving bag when you do.

I seem to do that most every morning at work. I eat breakfast when get to work at 7 or so. By 9 I've polished off a protein bar (on top of breakfast) and by 10 or 10:30 I'm usually looking for a bag of pork rinds or peanuts or something because I feel starved to death. I'm not but I feel that way. I probably consume 2/3's…

Sunday-Thursday about 5-6 hours a night. Which is not near enough and by about Wednesday I'm dragging and sometimes take an early evening nap if given the chance. I am also a night owl and stay up until 11 or 12 even though I have to be up at 5am. Friday and Saturday nights as much as 10 hours of sleep. We stay up late,…

Champion has several sportsbras that work great. They are underwire and some are even duo layered for extra support. Look at the rates (Moderate, High and Maximum support and what correlates to your bra size). I prefer the double layer. The second layer even has 3 or 4 adjustments so you can get a perfect fit. They offer…

What kinds of things will your picky kids eat? I have a very picky eater who basically lives on bacon, waffles, pancakes, cheese pizza, french fries, junk (chips and candy). The only healthy things I can get him to eat are most fruit, yogurt and occasionally string cheese. He will sometimes eat tacos (crunchy shell with…

Sounds like the motivation I need too. Always up for a challenge. Trying to get these 30 regained pounds back off and continue on to my personal goal. This sounds like a great way to get myself back on the wagon and start kicking those regained pounds to the curb for good!

I found the "honeymoon" stage to be over at about 6 months. That was when I could physically eat more but also when the weightloss really slowed down and I had to really start working at it. I lost 147 initially (in about 14 months) then was pretty happy where I was and really couldn't make my body lose anymore without…
