I like almond milk as well, and I try to find the stuff that's fortified with calcium and vitamin D. Try to avoid any sweetened kind. I don't like Soy as it really has an off taste and I find you need the sugar in it to make it taste good.

I find I can go to an hour class or so without food in my stomach. I too find that I get an upset stomach if I do eat within 1.5 hours of working out, which makes work outs after work hard. I agree with Ziiox, I really don't like the meat replacements because they try too hard to be like meat and really, vegetarian/vegan items can taste great on their own. I like to look at the desserts and think, is it really worth it? Usually stuff brought in is store bought and crappy. I like to think "is it worth the calories?" Usually not. But sometimes my co-worker who used to be a professional baker brings stuff in and I'm doomed.
