I'm 5'2 and 107 pounds. I started using MFP about a year ago and ate 1200-1400 calories each day for about five months, then I went through a weird period of depression/binge eating blues. Now I'm eating 1600-1700 cal a day and maintaining with exercise.

Not exactly a food, but chamomile tea has a significant amount of potassium. I like to have one right before bed- it's naturally caffeine free, and has a lot of other benefits.

I don't really like cheesecake. 5 bites max, and I'm done. And not really a food, but soda/pop/whatever you call it. In the last 7 years, I have drunken one cup of coca cola at a party because I was about to die of dehydration and there was nothing else..

I eat something sweet every day... usually fruit, but meh. I'd rather eat real sugar over sugar-free, but that's just me. Not a big fan of artificial sweeteners. I try to limit it to just fruit and one carb-based sweet a day, though. Complex carbs if possible. Usually made with natural ingredients. When I crave something…

Will be soon. Feel free to add :)

Personally.. I think the negative effects of soy are overexaggerated. I eat soy multiple times a day, especially in replacement for meat/dairy (which I feel like in excess could be more detrimental to one's health). Soy has been a staple in the diet of various countries for thousands of years, who have had little problem…

I always drink almond milk or soymilk. For almond milk, I generally buy the Whole Foods store brand (365) in unsweetened vanilla. Pretty sure it has less than 1 gram of sugar, if any. Silk Purealmond in Unsweetend vanilla is also pretty good, and only 30 calories per cup! For soymilk, the best-tasting one is Silk, imo. I…

-Fava beans -Steel cut oatmeal -Ezekiel bread -Seitan -Tofu -Dr. Prager's Veggie burgers (my fave) -Greek yogurt -Kind bars ..possibilities are endless, really.

Poptarts. Not filling at all, but so calorie-dense. I know they aren't the healthiest thing ever, but it's like 210 calories apiece. Also, mooncake with yolk. 300 calories per bite, no joke.

Blue cheese, canned tuna, anything with Bisquick (can you say trans fat?), bittermelon, and steak.

I used to eat around 1400 calories a day, but for the past month I've been netting at 1900, and managed to maintain.

I was looking through pictures from my last attempt at dieting (from when I restricted way too much) compared to now and the most noticeable difference, I think, is in my legs. Funny how now I eat a ton, feel better, and am easily able to reach my goals too. Thank goodness for MFP :)

Cup noodles... mmm, sodium. And reeses' cups. And dimsum style pineapple buns.

Pistachios for now, but cashews are a close second :)

People tend to have very strong opinions about food. I won't lie- I'm a cheese lover, and while there are good things that come out of cheese, I also think there are many detrimental effects to dairy (actually decreases ability to absorb calcium, associated with bad skin and body odor, etc) in general and that the dairy…

Yay! I've eaten all of these in the past three months :)

Waffles and nachos. I think the last time I had either one was like second grade lunchtime..

Lately, I've been eating pistachios like there's no tomorrow. I've also been loving the vegan polish sausage (kielbasa) by Tofurky- so delicious, and packed with protein. I throw it into everything- stir fries, salads, etc :) Oh, and also golden kiwis and popchips.

I JUST discovered cream cheese and jam sandwiches and feel like I have been deprived most of my life. Especially when it's light cream cheese with organic jam and ezekiel bread. xP When I was younger, I always had barbeque or sour cream chips slathered in sour cream and wrapped up in a tortilla, lightly heated, preferably.…

Tofu, quinoa, seitan, greek yogurt, soymilk, edamame, and various nuts are all good options. A quick way to prepare tofu that I usually opt for is just to chop up a green onion for flavor and cook with 1tsp olive oil. Delish as any side dish. For quick and easy meals, I like the brand Gardein- they have loads of fresh and…

My first binge since using MFP was when I went to a banquet and ate about 2000 calories there alone. Mainly in the form of desserts- cake, cookies, brownies, cream puffs, donuts.. I had them all and then some. Logged everything I could remember though, by just guesstimating and using the generically listed foods. I had the…

I plan on toasted ezekiel bread with light cream cheese and organic jam.. new addiction! Then maybe some homemade steamed veggie buns and a glass of unsweetened almond milk to wash it all down :)

Recently, it's been ice cream. Damn you hot weather!

Initially, I had to force myself to eat just a fruit for breakfast, but then I started eating more and more. So my >100cal breakfast turned into 200 calories, 300 calories, and now it's as high as 600 calories on some days. These days, I'm always hungry in the morning and I feel like my hunger shuts down after about 5pm. I…

Agree x100! I think lots people, especially in western societies, are mentally disconnected from their food. If they eat meat, they should know the true extent of what they are doing, and that's fine. I just can't stand the ones who say they won't eat lobster because it looks like one or something, but they will gladly…

Me too! Trying to eat low-carb just makes me feel like crap. Unprocessed carbs are my main source of energy and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Chocolate Dipped Coconut is delish :) I really like the Lemonzest flavor as well.

The first protein bar I've ever tried, which happened to be Pure Protein, was definitely the nastiest. I believe it was the Chocolate Deluxe flavor. People online said it tasted like a snickers bar- uhmm, nooot to me. Haha. I felt like I was chewing on rotten meat that someone had coated with an artificial layer of…
