I'm not actually sure and was wondering the same thing.....because I've kinda looked at it 2 ways: 1) If you exercise BEFORE eating it is suppose to curb your appetite and you won't eat as much. but 2) If you exercise AFTER eating you would burn a lot of calories that you just consumed. when you click on "Food" instead of adding them to your diary, select "Database" at the top under food.....or when getting ready to add them to your diary, you can always click "Nutritional Info" above the serving amount so that you can see the info before adding it.

I'm actually wondering the same thing. I'm a pretty hefty man and it says I'm suppose to consume 2590 calories a day and so far I've been ending the day with around 2000+ calories left after exercise! Best of luck on your weight loss!
