Feel free to add me, I'm starting all over as well after my doctor lectured me about my weight

Feel free to add me, I'm looking for extra support as well!

Hello! Sent a friend request :-)
-
It took me about 10 years to lose the weight between pic one and two.

This is amazing, thank you for sharing!!
-
Amazing!! Great job on your accomplishment!!
-
Thank you everyone for your input! I will plan to work out when I break for my study sessions.

People thought I just completely stopped eating or just drank coffee to lose weight. Someone intentionally tried to offend me by asking if I had weight loss surgery (I didn't, but what if I did? who cares).

I'm 5'3" and my goal is to look like my "after" photo in my profile pic. I was about 120-125 lbs and I'm about 135 lbs now.

I think they're so cute!

I'm 5'3", about 130 lbs and wear a size 8. I used to be a 14/16 when I was at my highest weight at 165.

I'm with you on the binge eating. I've been dealing with binge eating since I was a child, especially after I was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. It's gotten a little better recently, but food is always, always on my mind. I think about when I get to eat my next meal as I am eating a meal, so I continue to eat more food…

I initially wanted to lose weight because I felt like a balloon and my doctor kept yelling at me about how overweight I was. When I actually started losing weight and actually started to like what I saw in photos, that was the drive to keep me going.

Amazing progress, you look great!! This is very inspiring.

Hello! I'm new to the life style too. I've been doing some research on this and felt it would help me with some medical issues. I'm trying to ease myself into it. I try not to keep any "junk" in the house (meaning cookies, chips, candy, etc.). I would like to eliminate processed foods in my diet and trying to do it slowly…

I am just under 5'3" and i felt my best at 120, although my stomach was still jiggly even though I lifted weights and ate clean most of the time, but my arms and legs were really toned. I'm trying to get back there.
-
Amazing progress and thanks for sharing your story! Keep up the great work

Wow!! Amazing progress!!

My diabetes was getting out of control and I felt like crap.
-
You look incredible!! Great job on your hard work :-)

I thought if I just exercised (mostly cardio) and still ate the way I did, I would lose weight. I never lost weight and didn't see any change in my body. I switched it around. I watched what I ate, did heavy lifting and less cardio and started to see a change.

I found that strength training helped me after losing 45 lbs. At first I watched what I ate and did cardio, but I still was very jiggly. I added in weight lifting and although I still have a little loose skin in my tummy area, it's tighter than before.

I just started logging again. You can add me if you'd like :-) Plus some extra motivation wouldn't hurt either!
-
Wow, just wow!! You look amazing and must feel as great as you look!

I'm just under 5'3" and I lost 40 pounds very, very slowly (took me about 10 years). I started at 165 at my highest and I'm about 125 now. I struggled to lose the weight and I still struggle not to gain it back. I felt it got "easier" when I really wanted to see results. I saw myself going to the gym more consistently and…

There are people that make fun of me for my "clean" meals and won't say anything if I eat fast food once in a while. It bothered me at first, but I got over it. It's my health, not theirs. Just stop caring what other people think, you'll be happier.
