  • The proper way I was taught: exhale (mouth open) twice as long as you inhale (mouth closed). i.e. exhale to the count of 1-2-3-4 then inhale to the count of 1-2. Simple. It gets more toxins out and helps your endurance.

  • Don't loose hope. That's why this website is great. Counting calories alone clearly is not working for you. Use MFP to count carbs as well. A must. Increase your proteins, cut the carbs, decrease the fat. Track this daily and watch the scales go down. Good luck.

For instance, at McD, eat the interior of the grilled chicken sandwich (minus the mayo , minus the bread, minus the cheese). Very good. Still hungry, eat two.
