I've done more than this without signing a contract. The first book was soooo bad I couldn't finish it. Most of what I disliked about it could have been fixed by a better editor.

Well, today I did day 1 of week 6 on Anna Maria Island. It was great! It felt totally easy. My best mile time and longest run yet. Downside: I sweat off all my sunscreen and am rocking a wicked sunburn. Its only my second day in florida :( I will see if the resort has a treadmill for Tuesday.

Thanks everyone. I think I am definitely bringing my gear. Just bringing it with me will be enough motivation to use it and not totally let go because I'm on vacation! And then there is running on the beach...

I recommend going to vegan and veggie friendly restuarants. Most ethnic resturants have veggie options, and tex mex places like Chipotle and Qdoba are always easy. I'm also sort of the opinion of "don't ask, don't tell" and believe in the Paris Exemption, but thats a touchy subject for a lot of people.

This is a question that is impossible to answer because I only know my own experience. Was being an only child great? Sure. Would having siblings make it better? Who knows, because I didn't have any. I can't speak about what didn't happen. You know what made childhood great? Having awsome parents.

I don't understand how these are any different than protien shakes, like Spirtu-Tein. I stay away because its really a pyramid marketing scheme.

I actually dragging this out for 2 months because I'm doing Couch to 5k as well. So Monday, Wednesday and Saturday is 30DS and Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday is C25K. Friday is my off day. I started just before April and began level 2 on April 14th.

I made homemade gorditas last night and they were so bomb. like as good as the real Mexican places in Chicago. I just used the recipe on the back of bob's red mill masa harnia flour. filled with galaxy vegan cheese (my new favorite) and black beans.

Net calories is your total calories burned (in your case, 499) subtracting your resting calories (the cals you would have burned had you never left the couch). If your current weight is accurate on your ticker your pedometer was probably closer. It would take a lot of effort for someone of your size to burn 403 calories in about 20 - 30 minutes. The smaller you are the less you burn.

you really won't burn more than about 100 cal per mile, period. heres a good article: http://www.runnersworld.com/article/0,7120,s6-242-304-311-8402-0,00.html pay attention to the net. total is basically resting cal + running cal. I only record my net calories burned.

Tonight I'm making pancit. I believe the word pancit translats roughly into "fast food" because you cook it very fast. Its carrots, onions and garlic cooked in a wok, add in cabbage, mushrooms, seitan or anything else you like, add in cooked rice noodles, cilantro, a bit of seasame oil, hot sauce and viola!

I agree with you on this one. Thats why I only record 1/2 of my exersize so that I only eat 1/2 of my total exersize calories back. When I run for 1/2 hour and burn 200 calories, I'm not burning 200 in addition to the 100 I may be burning if I was doing nothing. I'm burning 200 total for that 1/2 hour, so yeah, I record…

I've lost 3 pounds and the level 1 doesn't feel so so hard anymore. Thinking about moving on to level 2 any day now!

So while this was yummy, the bean sprouts gave me food poisoning. Tonight I'm making black bean and sweet potato enchilada. Making my own corn tortillas for the first time!
