I've had the Fitbit One for about two years. It seems accurate. I do not eat calories earned by exercising unless I'm on vacation.

I had problems with my legs aching at night. Not like a charley horse but from my knees to my toes just hurt. At my two week checkup I mentioned it to my doctor and he didn't seem concerned. After about two weeks the pain went away. I still don't know what it was.

Thanks for posting the link to the article. I'm printing it and putting it on my refrigerator and next to my scales.

I'm 6 weeks out and I can eat about 3 to 3.5 oz per meal. I'm eating 3 times a day and I have one scheduled afternoon snack of 2 oz of yogurt. I weigh all of my meals at home. My food scale is my BFF. I'm not having any problems with getting 65 oz of fluid or getting my protein in. Most of my protein is still in the form…

You have to do what works for you, each individual is different in how they diet and how they maintain weight loss. There is no right or wrong if you are successfully in losing and maintaining the weight loss. For me it was yoyo dieting, lose 50, gain 50, over and over, which lead me to have sleeve surgery this year. I…

Hello, I was sleeved 2/2/15. My meals are still rather boring but I'm following the guidelines provided by my doctor's office. I'm having 2 oz of protein, fish or ground turkey. I can't move to chicken until I've tolerated ground turkey for two weeks. With the fish or turkey, I'm having about an ounce of very well (over…

I was on for 11 days, 10 of full liquids and 1 day of clear liquids the day before surgery. I didn't focus on the liquids only on why I was on the liquid diet. Knowing why made it easy to get through.

I had gastric sleeve surgery 2/2/15. It was not an easy decision to make but after researching and interviewing people who had the surgery I made the decision to improve my health. I've yoyo dieted for the past 20 - 30 years. Lose 50 gain 50. My goal is to use the tool (that's what I call it) to help me maintain my loss.…

Hello All, I'm scheduled for February 2nd and I'm looking for pals that just had sleeve surgery. I have a few questions, what can you tell me about the first swallow. Did it hurt or was it uncomfortable. What was the temperature, I've heard some people say ice code isn't good. I'm always better when I know what to expect…

Hello - Congratulations on getting through your first week. I reviewed your food diary and I'm not the expert when it comes to determining foods. I can tell you what works for me. I'm a little carb sensitive so I do watch my carbs. I noticed on several days you had two starches at the same meal. I limit my starch sized…

I have a Fitbit One and I like it. It motivates me to get moving. I initially just used it without any goals to see how much I was moving daily. I was practically a sloth. I was only moving enough to stay alive. I started with a 5000 step goal and I increase it weekly by 500 steps. It works. There are parts I don't care…

Maria - I'm also doing MRC and started only a few pounds away from your initial weight. I don't stick with the plan every day because it doesn't always fit my day, however I do kick off the day with the MRC breakfast. The breakfast foods are relatively inexpensive, eggs and bread. I might also do the MRC lunch, tuna with…
