Me too. I gained over 2 stone during the pandemic and had a lot of stress and turned to food. Starting again this last week but I’m so upset with myself for losing my way.

I bought a bikini today. I wasn't sure (and I'm still not), but the husband persuaded me. I haven't worn a bikini in about 15 years! Here's hoping I don't look ridiculous in it!

First photo Sept 2015, (had a break) second Sept 16, third March 17 37 years old 5'4.5 Still not perfect by any means but I'm so much healthier and happier.

I did my fastest 5k the other day and gave it everything I had. I walked a while to cool down and realised I had recovered quicker than expected. I was approaching a massive hill near my home and decided to sprint up it. Previously I had only managed to get half way up, but this day I sprinted up the whole thing. I've…

This! The biggest thing I'm learning now is how to only eat when I'm hungry. Sounds silly but it's easy to slip into the habit of eating when your bored, tired, thirsty, sad etc so now if I want to eat I have a drink of water (often I mistake thirst for hunger) and then ask myself if I'm truly hungry. If I am then I eat…

Hi, I'm 37 (older than your specific demographic sadly- even though I'm 22 in my head... does that count?) I am currently around 130 and wear a U.K. 8-10 I haven't been this size since I was 22. I spent my 20s being pregnant with my 3 kids and my early 30s working out how to juggle children and work. I totally lost my…

I'm a nurse too and I second what the lady above said. I take prepared food in (usually a lot of snacks because I don't have time to sit and eat a big meal). Eat regularly so you don't get too hungry. Drink lots.

My husband just picked me up and ran up the stairs carrying me. He wouldn't have been able to do that 6 months ago!

Ahh bless you. It must be really difficult if your sister isn't particularly kind about your weight. My sister has always told me I look lovely but by the very nature of our size difference, I always felt like a blob next to her. It doesn't help that we look like twins (we aren't) other than the weight.. and we sound the…

Horribly shallow, but here goes. I've always been the "fat sister" even though I've never been huge- I was a UK size 12/14 before, but my sister was always a UK 8. We are going on holiday together in a few weeks and I'm finally wearing a size 8 too. I'm not going to feel like a whale next to her and I might see if I can…

I'm 37 (so older than you) 5"4.5 Started at 169lbs Now in maintainance at 130. My maintainance range is 3lbs either side of that. When I have a race I will drop a little bit - less junk in the trunk to drag around the course!

I'm rewarding myself this morning with a new outfit, but only because nothing fits me anymore. To be honest, losing the weight was reward enough in itself. I now look in the mirror and I don't hate the reflection. That's a nice reward.

Yes! Both my husband and I have lost 2 stone in the last 4 months and I've noticed that cuddling (all kinds!) is much more "pointy" than it used to be. I think we'll just have to experiment to find a more comfortable position!

I've come on here to thank you too @Madwife2009 my bike has been sat in my hallway for 4 months -I bought it last year and rode it a fair bit over the summer but the more time passes, the more I lose my confidence. I keep seeing you talking about cycling and I have been very jealous! So yesterday the husband and I took our…

Me too! I've lost 16lbs in 2 months, I have another 7-10 to go. I love it!

You, lady, are AMAZING! here's to your health and strength in 2017 xx

For the first time in 15 years I have resisted the festive feast at the nurses station (and there is a LOT of lovely looking food at that station!) As a reward, I need to make a new hole in my belt.

You can do this! Start with very small goals and build your confidence. Read Habakkuk 3:19 xx

I'm a night nurse and I've lost 15lbs in 2 months. Preparation and forward planning is the key. I used to eat my way through a shift, all the sweets, chocolates and so much toast you wouldn't believe. Now I take a soup made from fresh vegetables, porridge and lots of fruit. I also drink bucket loads of water and black…

I'm a nurse and my "too-small" work trousers fell down. Thankfully I don't think any patients saw. As I work on a kids ward, that's not ok! Haha!

I never thought I'd ever post in here. I have always had a pair of jeans that I love, but they've always been far too small for me and hurt my hips. About a month ago I tried them on as I'd lost 20lbs and they fit perfectly. I went on to lose a bit more in the last couple of weeks and now the blinking things are too big!

Amazing! You look incredible. I bet the feeling of crossing that finish line was like nothing else! Congratulations xx

I need a bigger community of active people too!! It's day 130 of logging for me, and I work out almost every day. I have another 14-21lbs to go (depending on what I look like and how I feel) would love more friends with Similar mindset xx

I have 15-16lbs to lose ideally by the summer. I have already lost 17lbs since mid October but there's more to go, my weight loss is slowing down a bit now but I'm ok with that. Feel free to add me x

WoW!! What a total transformation. You absolutely needed to have told your story because it's stories like this that make us -who are still plodding our way through our journey, realize that we CAN do it! I don't doubt that you feel amazing right now, and now everyone can see those incredible eyes

I just had to throw out 4 pairs of jeans because they fall down. The new jeans I bought 4 weeks ago are also getting big. Hubby said "you're losing lbs and I'm losing £s to keep you clothed!"

Just bought mine today and did courgette and carrot with red onion and mushroom, served with cod and parsley sauce. It was so delicious. Tomorrow I want to try sweet potato

I'm also a nurse on exactly the same schedule. On my first night I eat a normal day's food (breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, tea) then about 11pm (if it's not too manic) I'll have some ryvita and spread or soup, and a bit of fruit. At 2am/3am I'll have a popcorn bar, and I'll eat some porridge when I get home. Sleep til…
