I'll send you an add request (or you can add me, either or) and I'll be glad to be a motivating, encouraging friend to you ~ and to help you find your way again :)

Happy to offer support! MFP has been such a great source of motivation, inspiration, and support for me. I couldn't have done it without my friends and support system on here.

I sat in denial about my weight for a long time. I could hide from scales (for the most part). I could hide from cameras or position pics from the chest up. BUT, when I TRULY had it and joined MFP was when I got tagged on FB in a full body photo of myself and I couldn't hide in the denial anymore. It was there for everyone…

You are simply motivating! You are an inspiration!

NSV's far surpass the victories on the scale, in my opinion! Way to go!!

Watch the movie "Fat Head". It's a documentary. It can be done, but you have to exercise and be committed to stay in a caloric range, as well. It's really not something I'd recommend, but obviously, it can be done.

The one on the left was my "breaking point" picture that got me to join MFP and take charge. It is not me at my very heaviest, though there are some close to that in my photos on my profile. The one on the right is me, roughly 45 lbs smaller. It's been a slow loss, but well worth it. I've gone from a size 10/12 to a size 4…

Started in a 26, then a 24. (US Sizes) Now I'm a 4 or 6, but usually a 4. (US Sizes)

You've done a great job and, the fact that you don't eat "clean" all the time sounds similar to my own diary. And we're both from Oklahoma. I think I'll friend request you. You're quite motivating =)

I can definitely tell a difference in the inches. I can tell, yes, that you're very tall without you having to say lol. You look great :) Keep up the great progress!

I have wanted to give up many times, as well, but something in me has always kept me going. I'm glad it has. I encourage you to keep going, as well. You have it in you to be a true success! I'll be glad to friend you and motivate you!

I really like most of the Fit Frappes protein powders by Big Train. I like the Vanilla Latte Click. I also like the Iced Coffee Chike, as well as the Orange Creme, Chocolate, Vanilla, and Banana Chike. I don't tolerate most others.

i'm a RNY'er so I'm not sure how helpful I can be when it comes to advice on the Lapband. However, I'll agree with what the sleever said on fighting back those plateaus with lots and lots protein. It almost always proved to be successful me, as well. I wish you the best of getting though this. Build your exercise up slowly…

Your progress is sincerely inspiring! Great job! You are such a success story!

Buy goal clothes, get a new tattoo (or 3), keep working on maintaining, and work on toning and tightening.

Some days I feel "fat", most days I know I've made a LOT of progress, but.... that progress seems to never been enough to satisfy me and I seek more and more and more progress, knowing then it will probably never be enough to make me truly happy. Before you tell me to get professional help or something, I already do see a…

Excellent NSV! You look really, really great!!

I prefer my friends to have their diaries open so we can all help each along the way if one is having a problem, but I'll be glad to have you as a friend. As for your other question, I'm still trying to figure out how to find apps to MFP and I haven't figured out that one. Sorry!

Elise ~ is that an Australian size 16? If so, that's equivalent to the US size 12. Either way, you look absolutely amazing!! You keep inspiring me!

3 meals, 5 meals, 6 meals... it makes no difference with the metabolism. It's all going to process the same way. It really depends on the day how I do things. Some days I have 3 meals, some 4, some 6. Do what works for you! :)

196 lbs down from highest weight. At one point, I was 216 lbs down, but I was sickly looking at that weight. I would like to get back to 200 lbs total lost, but I am also happy with how I am now =)
-
I want to be more confident, feel better about how I look, and always be beautiful on the arm of my husband. I am also doing this in hopes of improving my health =)
-
I would move to Quebec. Or to Virginia.
-
Most definitely a lifestyle change, not a diet.
-
Feeling comfortable in my own skin is my biggest motivator ~ as well as hoping to resolve health issues.
-
I have already initiated it. I'm trying not to do it now, but I really won't be doing it in November. And... I hope it lasts beyond that!

I made one post that basically admitted that I regained weight back and a couple of side-by-side picture posts showing the progress. I am pretty much in maintenance now so I won't be posting about it much, but I don't see anything wrong with it either.
