  • Sounds yummy and healthy. Personally, I would not add the salt. If you add chicken flavor, then there is no need for salt, in my opinion. I have not cooked or baked with salt in years.

  • I started using MFP and counting calories when my baby was four weeks old. I have been dropping pounds consistently since then. I hit plateaus 3-4 times, sometimes for up to 2-3 weeks, but I always just waited things out and one day I would loose again. Hope that helps!
  • I am doing the 30 day shred. You can get the videos for free on youtube. All you need is some weights. I got mine for under $20 at amazon.
  • I have lost 66 pounds since my son was born a little over 7 months ago. He is exclusively breastfed. I have been eating at least 1800-200 healthy ! calories a day. For the first few months, all I did was walking and carrying my infant in the carrier. Recently, I started the C25K and the 30 day shred.
  • I have absolutely no idea, but I would love to hear what others have to say.
  • Personally, I think there is only one thing that will increase your milk supply and that is nursing more often. The more you nurse, the more you produce.
  • I just started the 30 day shred. It is for free on youtube. I bought some 3 pound weights for $20, but if that is not in your budget, maybe you can lift some cans or water bottles or something.
  • Clean eating here! Cooking healthy, well balanced meals from scratch every day. Add me! I try to post recipes in my blog periodically.
  • I often use them when I make cereal bars. :)
  • Well, I walk a lot with my boys, I do baby wearing and I am very active in general (going to the park with boys, to the pool, etc.) Two weeks ago, I also started the C25K.

  • My midwife said not to eat under 1800 calories a day while nursing. I have been eating 1800-2000 healthy calories a day since my son was born 6.5 months ago. I nurse exclusively, no pumping, no formula. I have lost over 60 pounds since February!

  • These homemade granola bars are very easy to make, absolutely delicious and healthy. I have made them with dried cranberries, dried dates, mixed dried fruit, peanut butter, almonds, walnuts, cooked quinoa, flax seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, dark chocolate chips and much more. You can create so many different flavors.…
  • That is totally awesome! I just started the C25K, so you are an inspiration to me!
  • I have always wondered about that since I push my two boys in the stroller just about every day. According to my pedometer, I burn less calories while pushing the stroller. I just log the amount of calories my pedometer tells me to. I have lost tons of weight, so I am not complaining.
  • Maybe you are not eating enough?
  • Add me, if you like. :) I am a SAHM to two boys: 2 years and 6 months.
  • One of my current favorite meals is Bean Bolognese, and my husband and 2-year old son love it, too. Just click the link to view the recipe: http://www.webmd.com/food-recipes/bean-bolognese Instead of one can of salad beans, I usually use two cans of different types of beans, like kidney beans and cannellini beans. The meal…
  • Yup, I am eating pretty clean. :)
  • My biggest tip is to learn how to cook! I cook from scratch every day. I make granola bars, pasta and brown rice dishes with lots of veggies and beans, turkey and chicken, breakfast waffles and pancakes, and so much more. I also eat lots of fruit, yogurt, etc. The food I make/eat is absolutely delicious, healthy, etc. and…
  • Hmm, not sure. I am 5'5" and weigh 175. I also have a 2 year old and a 5 month old who is nursing exclusively. I walk a lot pushing the stroller, carrying the baby, etc. and I am active in general with the boys, such as going to the park and pool, but I do not do any other exercise. I eat about a healthy 1800-2000 calories…
  • 1) I am usually eating 1800-2000 healthy calories a day. 2) i walk a lot pushing the stroller, carrying the baby, etc. I also play at the park with the boys, go to the pool with them, etc. Not sure how many calories that all adds up to. Usually, I do not log more than 200 calories a day for exercise. 3) My baby is 5 months…
  • My midwife recommended to at least eat 1800 calories a day while nursing. So, I have been eating between 1800 and 2000 calories a day since mid March now. I have lost 37 pounds since then. My little guy is almost 5 months old. He is still nursing exclusively, no solids or anything.
  • Yes, I would eat more than 1400 calories a day -- that does seem low while nursing two kiddos. I am nursing my almost 3 month old exclusively. I am eating between 1800 and 2000 calories a day. Feel free to add me! :)

  • Wow, a 4 Mile race 4 days before your due date?!? I am absolutely impressed! You rock. Feel free to add me.
  • Don't give up! I agree with the previous poster. I find it much easier to work on my diet. I have been eating very healthy. I always eat three full meals and several snacks a day, usually not going over 2000 calories. I eat whatever the family eats. I eat healthy, they eat healthy. I find that is great for my children. My…
  • I did not actively try to loose weight with my older son, but once he was nursing less and less, I started to lose weight more quickly. Try not to worry! :)
