That's me too!

Just caught up on this thread after a week away because we can't randomly internet at work anymore. Confession: When the news first hit about our new rules at work my first thought was about this thread and I was far sadder than I should've been. Adding to the discussion from a few pages ago about names and nicknames: my…

Meanwhile I am here, much like Petunia Dursley, sad because I didn't get in haha.

Confession: Both on and off the internet, April 1st is one of my least favorite days of the year. It isn't that I don't have a sense of humor, I just find that many April Fool's "jokes" are mean-spirited. Already dreading the nonsense I may have to face tomorrow.

I have terrible horrible allergies that start like clockwork (calendar work?) on February 1st every year. I have always taken Claritin D and this year I have noticed having this exact same thing happening. It's a great side effect. I also use it the majority of the year since my allergies go from February through October…

I also applied for Ravenclaw, but I'd be thrilled to be accepted into any house!

I had similar feelings when my ex boyfriend committed suicide. He was so similar to what you described your ex being. I am happy that he is out of your life and hope that you are successful in letting go of the anger. I didn't find out until 6 months after if happened that he had died and then I was angry with myself for…

I do this usually multiple times a day.

I have that too! When I wear a pair that hit my incision it kills me until I can change them.

This is me. Strangers/acquaintances think I'm quiet, my close friends and family can tell you I never shut up! I have people tell me they're intimidated by me, and I can look b*tchy but really I'm just incredibly self-conscious. I also tend to operate under the assumption that most people don't like me. [/quote] Yes, all…

I was home sick for the past 2 days and ate the remainder of my son's birthday cake in small doses. I fully believe this healed me more than any medication I took.

Sometimes when I really want popcorn and know I don't have enough calories left for dinner and popcorn, I eat popcorn for dinner. This usually happens at least once a week.
-
My worst puking was from a bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos. SO painful that have not and will not ever eat them again.
-
I'm the same way. That's why even though I've been using MFP and stalking the forums for years, I had less than 15 posts until I found this thread.

We have some strange things that we say now that we have two kids going through the parrot stage, but one that always annoys me is when people say "Shut the front door".
-
I have to ask now, what are the other 2 songs?

I hate being in pictures and usually make people delete pictures they have taken of me. But tomorrow is my son's 3rd birthday party and I think I might stop worrying about it or else when they get older they will have zero pictures of themselves with their mom and that makes me sad.

Confessions: It has taken me a whole week, but I have finally read every post in this thread, from page 1 to 199, while at work. Oops.

Popcorn is my favorite filling low-calorie snack. I sprinkle hot sauce on it then eat it one kernel at a time. It takes me longer to eat it, and I feel full when I am finished.

It took my years and years of straightening, bad hair cuts and product testing, but after all the years of hate I can honestly say that I absolutely love my hair. Naturally curly and pretty. People always want to touch it lol.

I agree with: Hubby (ew) Onederland (So annoying! And I watch Biggest Loser and they say it all the time.) Moist (Shudder) A strange one that really grinds my gears is blouse. My sister says it all the time and I always stop her mid-sentence and make her say shirt or top instead.

I have never been a Bridesmaid sadly. All of my friends and family either eloped or had small weddings with no wedding party.
-
I will probably hang on to most of my shirts since we are planning on having another baby- that way I won't have to buy maternity clothes :) But after that, yes. Getting rid of everything except one pair of my largest size pants, just to see how far I have come.

I could have written this entire post word for word. I am right there with you.

I have awesome hair when it behaves itself. I like my eyes and my smile. My calves have always looked great no matter how big I have gotten. Everything else, is a work in progress.

I am giving up using food as a source of comfort when I am sad or stressed out.

Nope. I still weigh every morning because it has become a habit, and I am interested in seeing how my weight fluctuates because it lets me know that I am retaining water and I should probably drink a little more water that day. I don't log it though. I only log when I see a new low number.

"There's a correct fit, and a sister size that's fairly similar. If you go down in a band size, go up in the cup. For example, I usually take a 28DD." This. I worked at both Fredrick's of Hollywood and Victoria's Secret and that is what I was taught when they taught me how to fit bras. If you started at a 42G, that means…

I am slightly taller at 5'2". I started at 236 after I had my son. I am currently at 212 and my first goal is 150 with an eventual goal of 130. I have never been small, and I think I would look strange any smaller than that. I would like to keep my shape, just a smaller version of it.
