Thanks - I'm listening The good side that low carb has done for me - lost over 75 pounds - pants size down over 12" - lowest weight in 33 years - no more acid reflux - lost some sugar food addictions - brain works faster [my wife and kids say I'm more with it] - able to do gym workouts 3 timef a week

Not an issue- I fill up every morning an again when I walk

If CICO worked - why the massive obesity? Must be that everyone has no willpower to stop stuffing their faces.

Yeah - they might fit at home - but as I walk - they start slipping down, 2 weeks ago - I had to grab them before they totally fell off. I have an elastic now and its' better but not perfect. I bought 2 more pairs of pants on sale - same brand - different style. One pair is tight enough I can hardly get on, the other needs…

Same walking routes that I normally use, no carrying, same clothes. I also carry a Garmin thats counting steps by GPS and its total step count for a walk matches the Fitbit. Could be this - my moderate bars are usually half way through the walk and I tend to push harder half way through - then slow again as I tire.

Live classes where I am also, but I have a very restrictive schedule. She has done training for a lot of sports people, a major hocky team and circ du soleil
-
Yes I have a trainer but he's away. He's very good, but sometimes I like other opinions. BTW - I'm finding that the 10 reps I did in the morning is no so easy later in the day, so for the moment I'll only do 2 sets, not three
-
Yeah I also do squats with kettlebells, but not ten reps, and only part of my 3 times a week gym/strength training. Not quite ready for goblets
-
Very nice - - watching now
-
I'm far from younger - but I've lost about 105, 75 of that using MFP, and have another 25 to 35 more to lose

My tailor is doing something like that - a strip with a bumpy rubber surface that will cling to my shirt

MCT/Coconut is not a exogenous ketone

Coffee, coconut oil, cheese, humus, canned tuna, almonds, Greek yogurt plain, vege burgers, eggs, lettuce, blueberries, tea

What I don't understand is I have dropped [over several years] from over 320 down to to 215 and never had this problem before. At larger sizes of dress pants I needed to have the waist let out - simple.
-
We'll see what happens - I've been using this guy for over 25 years - and always been happy. He "rebuilds" shirts for my son who is hard to fit. The other issues is that i'm on a loss cycle - 1.5lbs per week - if it keeps up - in 6 weeks - have to do it all again.

I have loads of MCT/coconut oil - but it's easy since I'm happy to eat it by the tablespoon. Also mix into other things and use it for frying.

Only one food store where I was - other options were cheese - chocolate bars and really junky food. My trainer has biased me to have carbs if i overwork in gym.
-
I have salt water, magnesium citrate and potassium tabs every morning.
-
yeah - I bought a shirt in December - not my normal brand - still won't fit, meanwhile I've gone down 2 shirt sizes
-
Very frustrating-last pair of pants I bought was on a 2 for 1 special - so I bought the next size down for the 2nd pair. In the last few weeks - they started slipping off when walking and I had to add holes on my belt - so the belt is 2" tighter - the smaller pants I can now get on, bu they are still too tight and a button…

You don't get into ketosis by eating a candy bar that might contain ketones
-
Interesting - I've lost 75 lbs over more than a year. I took a break for several months, but in the few weeks I've lost 17 lbs and 3-4" off my waist. When I go for a walk I'm only going 2.9 mph [used to be 3.1] and my gait is wobbly and I feel slightly unstable

Exactly

Some people can be on keto and not count calories - just count carbs. That indirectly restricts calories.
