Thanks for the very detailed answer. I have tremors in my left hand on and off. I've had them for 2.5 years - a ketogenic diet seems to help - I've managed several times to go for weeks with only minor tremors. It gets worse with stress situations. I'm a lousy typist and the tremors makes my typing much worse - otherwise…

Interesting - dystonia was one thing I thought I had last year - but I only had twisting - not repetative. Its hard to get a midday rest - I find it only works if I can get up again before 1pm and my schedule does not always allow that. Unfortunately my work requires me to be at a computer doing real time support with…

Good memory :) I checked as soon as I came back- no connection with Parkinsons - and the symptoms never came back. Parkinsons does slow walking - but what was happening was my back was twisted so I could not walk straight. Sort of like this [I'm male]

Pay attention to your food. Exercise is for health, not weight loss [unless you work out a lot]
-
It's totally useless - I'm on my second FItBit and doubt I would buy another until the sleep display is fixed

I cut back on my loss rate - not helping at all - depressing looking at the skin folds - even though I'm at my lowest weight in 34 years

Years ago - when I was doing yoga - I had a book that showed how to gain muscles - by just sitting and imaging lifting weights
-
You can under some special circumstances One of them is being quite overweight and not having lifted weights before -

The Keto way of eating requires work and self-responibility.

I do NYC every year for 4-5 days- walk everywhere - 12000-24000 steps per day. Use stairs not escalators - cIimbed over 50 flights one day. Eat a [make it myself] small cereal and fruit breakfast. Eat lunch and dinner at restaurants - small lunch with no desert - full dinner - but minimize bread. I'm on a low carb…

I have a ton of it around - rest of the family drinks it - but i only like black tea - and sometimes macha

Is the green tea part of the magic - or just a carrier for the oil? - I'm perfectky happy eating MCT oil by the tablespoon

Mine's been stuck for the last few days - mostly things that were just added should be at the top and end up several lines down. But some frequents are now on page 2.

My experience is that it takes much more planning and awareness than other approaches - and people considering keto often are looking for a quick fix. I have however got to the lowest weight I've been in 30 years, and kept that weight off for several months while taking a break from extreme keto [my trainer suggested that…

90.267 % of the new people here indicate they are going to fail. e.g I need to lose 15lbs by the end of the month for a wedding. I've been drinking ACV and green tea for week and gained 8lbs- why?

Walking is good, I aim for 8000 a day but find it hard to find the time. I doubt that regular walking has meaningfull weight loss benefits. When I did aggressive walking/hiking with hills I think it did help imporve my weight loss, but I wasn't logging at that time. I do see people claiming to walk over 20,000 steps a day…

I've fasted for 3 days - water only. I did it for "toxic removal" - which I now think is nonsense. Did appreciate the amazing new taste of food at the end. I did not do it for weight loss - and a week later my weight was the same. I was warned of headaches and the inability to work full time, but had no problems

If you are on Keto - fry with liberal amounts of coconut oil

What does eating clean mean? Switching in and out of keto can have uncomfortable side effects - not recommended Switching to keto can cause fast weight loss - but its only water - not real weight loss Worms are ok on keto - so long as they have not been fed rice
-
If I eat 150 carbs - I consider I'm not anywhere near keto - at that point I start getting carb cravings and my "calories in" get to the danger point.

Top of the Rockefeller center [NYC] in June to get a photo taken. Last time I was there I was 50lbs heavier then today = hoping it will be 60 by the time I get there.

First thing in the morning - after bathroom - no clothes [or same clothes every time]. Scale in exactly the same position each time. My weight can vary 5lbs or more at different time of day. I weigh every day and use an app to remove teh random variations.

I'm losing 1.5 lbs per week - eat chocolate every day. I avoid regular milk chocolate that I would not be able to stop eating. Instead I use 74% dark chocolate - 1 or 2 squares a day.
-
Please ignore the above - it's nonsense
-
Not at all - if you trust your calorie count and exercise burn - then you know what your weight will be - no need to weigh ever
