cut out your salt like crazy. Drink lots of water. Talk to a trainer at your gym. Do one big workout right before your have to go to the event... your muscles look bigger immediately after a workout.

you do what you want to do. Enjoy. Personally, I don't even like wearing a bikini in front of my family. I feel like I'm showing too much off, and I feel very uncomfortable. I have no issue if someone else wants to flaunt the goods... but do it in a classy way.

You'd be thin, but likely unhealthy. Not properly nourished. Not a lot of muscle mass. You'd likely feel like *kitten* most of the time. It's a means to an end, but is it untimately an end you really want? It's not just about being thin.... unless it is.

pretty much any exercise you do will work your abs... as long as you keep them "engaged". That's the whole premis of pilates. Your abs are your core, which means it is the centre of absolutely every movement your body does. Keep them tight all day long and you'll be working them!

probably me. I take WAY more than 30 second breaks between sets while I chat with my trainer. Some guy actually asked us to hurry up a few weeks ago, and when I'm on the treadmill I turn my music up really loud, so I have no idea if I am making weird loud noises while running :ohwell:

I used to hate it, so I started out swimming… can't feel the sweat when you swim :wink: I eventually started losing weight, and decided to start speed walking, which turned into a run. I then did a boot camp. Now, I love me some sweat! I know I'm doing good things when I sweat.

even if you are 1 calorie under your goal, it will say that. It says nothing if you are one calorie over. Personally, I'd be happy if it said "So-and-so was within 50 calories of goal for the day"
