  • Good to know! The snooty nurse at my drs office told me I was in the obese range (I knew I never liked her!)
  • My friends and I bring the crystal light packets along with us! Order a vodka water and mix it up yourself, it's not the best tasting, but it's lower in calories...once you figure out how much of the mix to use they really don't taste that bad!
  • That's a really good idea! The campus has nutrition facts posted on the website, but I'm not really sure how accurate they are. I Doubt they actually serve things based on serving size, which isn't even listed in the nutrition facts, I'm probably dating twice the amount of calories I think I am!
  • We have mandatory meal plans, so I'm stuck with ten meals a week to eat on campus :( I usually only eat one on campus a day and use my second meal to get small snack items like yogurt, fruit, etc and make a sandwich or some pasta in my room. I do have a tiny fridge, and a microwave--but that kind of limits my options for…

  • I had originally only been using the gym but after 3 months of not feeling any different I decided to try the shred since so many here have had good results. I plan on starting back at the gym for cardio once I get more comfortable with the program...it just got a little disappointing after my work out buddy started…

  • hopefully we both see success! when I was doing the knee circles and the first bit of cardio my legs were popping like CRAZY! Most of the pain is in my thighs, those punches really make them burn!

  • I was very concerned about my legs today! I am a college student living on a VERY hilly and stair filled campus..by the time I got to my classes today all I could do was flop down into my desk like a sack of potatoes! I like the "waist" pun :laugh: I can't wait to start seeing results!

It's mainly the first set of cardio that was discouraging, I can't jump around like a fool like she does! but the punches always make me feel better, like I'm hitting her in those perfect abs that hopefully I will have some day.
