As i'm sitting here reading this, I realized I have no f'ing clue if my thighs touch and quite frankly I don't care! I'm in the best shape of my life and no longer 192lbs and have a better body now than I did as a teen!

And if you call the cops, there could be retaliation from the kids. And, hate to tell you, if they just have a couple of joints they will get a slap on the wrist for a little possession charge. Do you notice high traffic in and out of the house? Because the only way calling the cops will do any good is if they have enough…

I've heard the same thing. I know my brother is obese and has sleep apnea and he's the only one in my immediate family who has it and is obese... Lose the weight and see what happens!

Welcome newbies! Feel free to add me! I'm racking my brain for a salty snack that doesn't have salt. I've lost my taste for salt, but the Nature Valley Sweet & Salty nut bars may not be too bad. Not the cleanest choice, but it's a start, and they don't pump their granola bars full of artificial crap. The sugars are a…

Whole Foods is totally different. It really is whole food and they are very particular about what they put in their stores. I totally relate! GNC is the BIGGEST sham! Read the ingredients in their shakes. There's nothing healthy about them! And a "health" store where you can buy pills to beat a drug test?? They did that in…

With that many squats, you're muscles are gonna get bored with the exercise. There's absolutely NO need to do 155 body weight squats. Please make sure you're using proper form so you don't blow out your knees!!

See how you do on 1200 calories for a few weeks and if you don't see any progress or you do and plateau in the future, increase them again. I'm not a big fan of 1200-cal eating plans and it may be a bit too drastic for you. I'm sending a FR now :)

When you're lifting weight, you have to correct your posture to not injure yourself, right? So it's possible that you're being ever-mindful of posture because you're creating the habit by working out. And yes, it CAN help posture! I've always had a good posture b/c I went to Catholic school as a kid lol

Exactly. When you're losing weight, it's not gonna all be fat. What else do you think your losing? Start with the shakes now. And like ^^ he suggested, no reason why you can't start doing push ups, etc at home...

I could quote research but the proof is in the pictures. My body stopped responding to mostly cardio and light weights (yanno, the pink ones lol) so I changed it up and mixed it up in a BIG way last Spring..starting with ChaLEAN Extreme for 3 months, which switches up phases every 30 days, then P90X for 3 months, which…

Has it occurred to anyone in this world that back in the 50s and 60s, most moms were stay at home moms who had the time to prepare REAL food for their families. Then, in the 80s and 90s women were increasingly joining the workforce. A lot of women don't get home until 5-7pm each night. Kids have sports, homework, CCD, etc…

It's realistic as long as you're committed!

Balance...35% protein, 35% carbs, 30% fat and in the best shape of my life and never hungry!

I eat a good amount of fat but not as a "diet" and not following any plan. I'm just addicted to coconut milk and all natural PB lol

Reset your activity level to "sedentary" and eat back most of your exercise cals (provided you have your MFP set to lose 1lb per week, which is the most sustainable and healthy way) and see what your calorie goal is then. And for some ppl it's not just cals in and cals out but the quality of calories. If you're eating a…

I'm not a persona trainer or fitness guru but I've been doing this a long time and lay off that ankle. You will end up doing more damage and possibly put yourself out of commission for a longer period of time than if you just rest it now!

He's absolutely right. Look at my pics. I'm 5'7" and 135. I look much smaller b/c I have built a lot of muscle....

It happened to me all the time as an overweight kid, which kept me overweight. Now, I have a pause button. My best friend during workouts like P90X Plyo X and Yoga X lol Do your best and forget the rest. I've been working out for over 15 years. This time last year, I couldn't do one military push up, even on my knees. I…

Interesting and def possible. Because I heard the same things about people who do cleanses and detoxes. Do you live with any smokers?

Just sent FR :)

Meth is effective too. Add chain smoking and you're good to go!
-
Be careful with that...I did that and got belly fat for the first time since losing my weight in 1987 b/c of the high sugar content

Listen, if you want nice saggy skin, brittle hair and a sallow complexion, knock yourself out! Eating that low, especially if you're working out, will force your body to eat the muscle as well as burning fat. So if you like bones and sagging skin and no tone, go for it! I'll keep eating my 2000 cals and lifting weights and…

Kerrygold is impossible to find. Even organic unsalted is fine. I use organic salted.

They're better than the alternative, which is cookies and cakes, etc. Occasionally I think they're ok. What always kept me away from them is they have wayyy too much fiber for someone with IBS. Too much fiber has the same effect on me as not enough fiber. I don't know why these companies feel the need to pump "diet" food…

You're not serious...

I can't give a generic response without knowing what you're eating, how much or how little you're eating, what kind of exercise you're doing, your medical history and any medications you're taking. Feel free to friend me if you want help!

absolutely it helps, depending on where it is. I lost my weight over 20 years ago and my abs have been very forgiving. My legs? Not so much. My plan is to keep lifting heavy and fill up as much as possible with muscle. I haven't ruled out surgery, although I have my fears about the pain lol
