I will Friend you! I've gotten incredible results from some at-home programs. My profile pic right now is from a program I did at home :)

I got gym results at home using free weights and looks like she had better results with free weights, as well!

And here's my pics after Round 1 of P90X:

Ok...Here's my results from ChaLEAN Extreme, Round 1. Round 2 will be done in a month: Hope I did these right...it's been a while lol

Ok, I totally suck with uploading pix to the forums, but I'm sending a friend request now! My current profile pic shows my results from my first round of a weight lifting program called ChaLEAN Extreme. I'm on Round 2 now :)

Doable? Yes. Sustainable? Heck no!! When I lost my 70lbs, I lost at a rate of 1-2lbs most weeks, with a couple of 2-week long plateaus throughout my weight loss. I've kept my weight off for 20 years. The good news is you're willing to exercise. Any ideas what kind of exercise you may enjoy?
-
Great job! That's my next program after i'm done ChaLEAN Extreme next month! Can't wait. Totally gonna be different than anything I've done before!

Absolutely at least one rest day per week, if not two! If you overtrain, you're gonna injure yourself or end up exhausted and sick all the time. Happened to me.

What they said ^^^ although the sound of eating Sonic everyday is making me a little ill lol. After you get used to eating healthy food after some time, you start to crave healthy real food rather than slop like Sonic. Hang in there. Think of the horrid stomachaches or the crappy way they're gonna feel from eating like…

congrats and welcome back! :)

You don't necessarily have to join a gym and use the machines to get gym results at home. I thought I had to, as well, but the gym is very inconvenient for me with my schedule right now and I'm a workout video junkie. I discovered ChaLEAN Extreme and other videos that have given me gym results at home. check out my pics!!…

Correction...said failed pregnancy was in 1996 not 2006. I'm getting my decades mixed up lol.
-
I'm sure you're getting all kinds of expert opinions on here but here's my experience: I had to work out to lose my 70lbs back in 1987. Gained it back after I stopped working out and with a failed pregnancy in 2006. Took it off again when I started working out. Haven't stopped working out and haven't gained back since…

I do agree that seeing a couple of lbs lost will help start your motivation. I was there and it was the first 5lbs I lost that got me started with the other 65. This was back in the 80s before most of these fad diets...just exercise and portion reduction. Period. That's why I've kept it off for over 20 years. I KEPT IT…

How crappy do you feel right now? You never have to feel this way again! Use your pain as your motivator, since pain is the best motivator of them all! i personally would not recommend more than a 3-day fast. I have a couple of ideas if you wanna shoot me a PM. And to those who said you don't have to exercise to lose…

Get over it and get back on the horse. We all have bad times. Even those of us who've been eating well and exercising for YEARS, like me! Tomorrow is a new day. Make it count! No excuses!
-
Sounds like you're off to a great start and good job adding weights. Too many people say "I want to lose the weight first" but if I knew then what I know now, I woulda been lifting heavy back in the 80s when I lost my weight!
-
Write down WHY you are here and WHY you joined in the first place. Then write down your goals. Break them into smaller pieces, like what small thing can you do TODAY to reach your goal? And add it to your "to-do" list. Then do the same thing tomorrow!

First mistake...don't diet! Create a healthy eating plan. Like chocolate? Have a square or two of dark chocolate. Also all natural PB with no salt added helps me with chocolate cravings. Lose the energy drinks...the crash you're experiencing from them is gonna make you crave anything with caffeine and sugar to perk you…

I'm lazy...I use 8oz coconut milk, I scoop Shakeology and 1 scoop protein powder. I'm getting a day's worth of veggies in one shake, super foods and probiotics. And it's bangin good!

How much more do you need to lose? Do you exercise and you're eating 1200 cals on workout days? 1200 is awfully low to begin with. Why don't you try slowly increasing and see how it goes from there? you may be surprised that as you're eating a little more you may actually have more energy and start losing again. Also, do…

Michael Jackson - Thriller. Yes I'm showing my age lol

You get paid for that? I'd love to do that! I have a CDL B with passenger...

^^ AMEN!! There are ways to do cleanses to remove toxins and get rid of cravings while still eating whole real foods you know. But for weight loss, you really need to come up with something you can stick with for the rest of your life if you want lifelong results!!

^^^ hahahaha!

How much C do you take? There's another product called Flu Plus by BHI-Heel (you can find on Lucky Vitamin.com) that's great for helping to fend off not only the flu, but anything viral. My mom's holistic doc originally recommended it to her.

Egg White protein for post workout (I'm allergic to whey) Biotin 1000mcg for my hair lol Vegan Tropical Strawberry Shakeology for my IBS-C, energy, super foods, stamina, for lunch so I'm not skipping a meal (not a lunch person), non-whey non-soy source of protein (again, allergic to whey), and my immunity. Oh and my now…

Wow...you're my inspiration, the reason why I do this, and you're doing it the best way possible! You should be feeling good! Thank you for sharing so that people see it CAN be done the right way when you want it bad enough! Bravo!! :)

As long as you don't have any kidney problems, it shouldn't be a problem going over on protein. As for fiber, if you can go over without being doubled over in gas pain then all the power to ya! lol
