^^ Mostly agree...I do eat a lot of fat but a lot of the fat in my eating plan is mono- and polyunsaturated fats and I'm at 18% body fat at 41 yrs old and I'm not complaining! lol

Moderation. Enjoy the holiday treats, but plan ahead and eat small meals often throughout the day so that you don't end up overindulging during the festivities. And no deprivation, rather just small portions of the treats. And EXERCISE!

Danced from 3-7, got fat, lost my weight in 9th grade by dancing every day in my bedroom after school and portion control, and have pretty much kept it off since. I still enjoy dancey-type workouts for cardio! SW 192, GW 135 at maintenance for the better part of 20 yrs!

I had a major soda addiction when I was a kid, which led to my childhood obesity. My life saver at the time? Crystal Light had just come out and I loved their iced tea and lemonade! It was the beginning of the end for me. I'm totally dating myself b/c Crystal Light came out in the 80s lol

Yes it's VERY true! I'm proof! I'm 41 yrs old and eat 2000 cals most days because of weight training! And I used to be obese as a kid so it's certainly not genetics! I'm sending a FR now :)
