Step one...Decide if you really want things to change. Don't do it for anybody else buy yourself. Regardless of age, gender, fitness level there is no way around hard work when it comes to changing your lifestyle. I am a firm believer that a healthier lifestyle begins with changing your diet. It doesn't mean cut out…

I am interested to see how this turns out for you. Everyone pretty much said it, build strength, focus on the lower body. Also I would concentrate on your footwork as well. Did you watch the NFL game this last Sunday?

You have step one in the books by making the choice to make a change. MFP is a great place to start and also to find like minded people.

All keep in mind that weight is subjective when you are strength training. What you really should ask yourself is how you feel with your 5x5 progress. I am also participating in the SL 5x5. I add a few extra exercises just for kicks and mix in cardio sometimes on off days and sometimes after my lifting. When you build more…

I tend go with Turkey Meatloaf. Doesn't sound fancy because it is not, but it makes lunches simple.

If your guy dresses up, I would suggest a set of metal collar stays. Without a doubt an upgrade over the standard flimsy plastic ones that come with the shirt.

Your body needs fuel. Remember that your body will burn muscle tissue and food energy before it burns fat. Give your body what it craves. The increase in quality calorie intake will also help rebuild torn down muscle tissue. When there is more muscle tissue your body will burn calories efficiently and more often. Fuel the…

Whole milk is real milk.. I love it. No way I would give it up. But to agree with an above poster, just make sure it fits in your calorie allowance. Or just earn it

Simple. Stay away from processed foods; you know foods that have mascots. Check your friends on MFP that you admire, look at their food diaries. Cook your own meals. That way you always know what is in it and it is a fun accomplish/skill.

First and best answer....Fitness is a lifestyle not an immediate change. Full transformations will take at least 12 wks.

Yup that is the great thing about the MFP community. We can talk fitness, diets and healthy lifestyle all with like minded individuals. Welcome to the MFP fam.

Diet is always the most important thing. Just make sure you are under goal and once you are cleared to exercise go for it. Just keep a positive frame of mind. Abs are made in the kitchen :)

My go to was banana cream, was pretty good. Recently changed over to MusclePharm, again with the banana cream flavor. It is delicious on epic proportions. Both are good products. Just depends on what you want. The MP is a blend opposed to the 100% Whey from ON.

Yup totally agree with the first post. It is WAY too early to have muscle imbalances. They do happen, but not after two weeks. Also your arms will be fine, the real imbalances are between mirror(chest) and non-mirror muscles(back). Don't neglect your back just cause you don't see it in the mirror. Strong posterior chain…
