Ooh, awesome tip! What I do is I get them home, peel them, wrap them in wax paper, and stick them in a ziplock freezer bag. I got this method from a local juice bar and it's been working like a charm :) Just wish they'd keep longer on the counter. I enjoy fresh bananas, dangit! :laugh:

I've read that the standard "8, 8oz cups' is not nearly enough and that we should be drinking 1oz of water per pound of body weight. For me, that's an awful lot of water, but I noticed how much easier it is to get it all in when I cut out other beverages entirely.

For smoothies, I use rolled oats, but for just eating oatmeal as a meal, I buy steel cut. OMG so good, so much better than rolled oats.

how about a light, 300 calorie snack? I find that if I don't eat enough, I'm more prone to eat the wrong stuff later/the next day. I made myself a promise to eat a certain number of calories a day, at specific timed intervals, and I do it whether I'm hungry or not. I sure the heck didn't have a problem eating junk food…
