I'm 5ft 7.5 and 160lb.... my goal is 147 pound. Clean eating, hooping and lifting weights :)

I'm a newbie to this and was wondering where to start with dumbbells. I've been using 5kg on each arm but I don't think his is nearly enough. I'm a bit of a wimp in the arm department.

Hula hooping is low impact and tones the whole core. Fab for burning calories too.

Mine was also weighing heavier than I did at 9 months pregnant. I put on a stone after the birth ?!?!?!

You can put on up to 4lb ... I know I do ... in just water/bloating. After a couple of days it goes back down. I just dont log that weeks weigh in and I'm always really pleased with the bigger loss the week after.

I'm the opposite... massive bootay! Only problem is you can't really spot reduce fatty areas. It has to be an overall loss which may still leave you feeling unproportionate. There is always the option of overall loss whilst building muscle/bluk in you lower body with strength exercise.

Did anyone use a HRM? I hula about 30 mins a day... sometimes basic sometimes Hulaerobics. Loving it!:love:

Drink lots of water and hula hoop! I lost 1 inch in 10 days with hula hooping alone :)

I'm the same. I think it's the exercise increase to be honest. I used to have a horrendously low appetite before I had my son. Then I ate like a starving animal at a buffet. Now it seems to have crept back down to 'never hungry' again. It's since I started working out. I can probably go til 2pm without food. It's really…

Hula Hoop... Serious core workout and low impact. Do it in front of the TV. Simple!

Other than my elliptical workout I also log my walk to and from work as I do it with a 'brisk walk'. If i'm bimbling about/cleaning/random daily stuff I don't bother. I only eat to a limit of 1500 regardless of calories burnt.

One pound of fat and one pound of muscle are very different sizes. The more fat you burn and replace with muscle the slimmer you will look but you wont nesserarilly drop pounds.Check out this link (sorry its huge)…

I've started Slimming World on the Green Option. I have a large bowl of fruit with a WW yogurt on top. I used to have a bacon sarnie (mmmmmm) but am pleasantly supprised and how filling the fruit is.
