The one in Forest Hills pretty much sucked lol.

Someone I used to date would constantly do this to me.. So I started with "Youre going to wear that?" and commented and picked at pretty much everything he wore.. then when he got fed up one day and asked WTF my problem was.. I said thats how it is when you question everything I eat. Fun, right?

LMAO I was saying this in my head earlier today

Thanks so much for your positive advice.

One word: Ephedra.

Oh and that diet with that drink made of lemons, syrup, hot sauce and all that weird stuff. no thanks!

Its been suggested to me to use those pre-packaged meal plans. First of all theyre so damn expensive! Secondly, they dont teach you anything. I would be pissed if I lost 50 lbs and had no idea how to maintain it so I gain it all back. I cant understand how that would be good longterm.

I'm getting better with breakfast, I set up smoothies for the week in ziplock bags and in the morning I throw it all in my nutribullet and take it to work.

I never heard about the calcium, my medication bottle says no food for an hour. Does anyone take their medication at night?

Luckily Im seeing my doctor today after work, Im going to ask to have my thyroid checked. Im wondering if my medication needs to be adjusted. That might be another reason Im just so blah, tired, depressed, you name it. Ive always been a good eater (sometimes too good lol) so I dont understand how all of the sudden I barely…

I also plan my meals on Sundays, I just either dont have time to eat at work or dont have the energy after work. I'm lucky if I get 10 minutes to eat throughout my day so I think smaller things I can sneak here and there are the best option for me.. Ive been known to inhale a granola bar in the bathroom at times lol

Im one of those annoying people that has a tough time eating breakfast because I have to be at work at 8am and I cant stand the thought of eating that early. I've also been told that you shouldnt eat for at least an hour after taking synthroid, do you guys find that to be true?

The worst mea l ever had was jellyfish.. I don't even know what the rest of the meal was.. I didn't want to find out.
-
Also... would it be ok if I added some of you? Its so hard to find people that understand hypothyroidism :(
-
I agree about the migraines! People think Im just being a drama queen when Im hungry but I genuinely don't feel good and Ive even gotten dizzy (passed out once) and I immediately feel better after I eat something.

Damn it. I think I might go to Roosevelt Island though, its pretty nice.

I've heard Adele, Kat Dennings (i think its the hair) and back when I was blonde I heard Kate Winslet.. I dont really see any of it.
-
YES! Same here.. Also, I absolutely need to find those red leggings.

I had no idea there was so much to do! They should advertise this stuff.

I was diagnosed almost a year and a half ago with hypothyroidism and honestly it was like a wakeup call for me. It made me realize how delicate health is. My uncle gained 60 lbs in a year by ignoring directions, not taking medication and eating what he wanted. I refuse to let that be me. I may not have lost a lot of weight…

I don't know anything at all about the Paleo thing but I'm going to look into it.

Thats not to say I won't be watching what I eat and exercising.. Im just not going to make any drastic dietary changes until I can focus on myself.
-
I've been under my calories for over a month and I ride my bike regularly. Im going to start May 1 because I have a lot of family visiting and I have enough going on with that. I'll focus on one thing at a time or I'll drive myself crazy.
-
WOW really?! Im going to look for these books! Thanks
-
Im with you on that one.. I think May 1 will be a big day for me.. Time to really stop everything and take a look at what Im doing wrong. Hopefully by the end of July (my 27th birthday) I will have made significant changes!

My last labs were still a bit elevated so I was bumped up to 100mcg. Next Friday I'm seeing my GYN and Im going to ask her to check my TSH level while she does other bloodwork (this way I dont have to get it done twice) and hopefully this dose is the one that will finally make me normal.. well at least when it comes to…

My reason is because for the first time in my life, im afraid for my health. I recently put on weight and found out it was due to issues with my thyroid. Ive been on medication for about a year now but I just dont feel GOOD anymore. Ever. Im always tired, sluggish and depressed. I want to get in shape to help protect my…
