  • wow, amazing job. keep it up and good luck on your goals.
  • I usually eat an egg on english muffin or toast. Either that or I have 1/2 cup of oatmeal mixed with fruit and it seems to last for me. I'm a stocker so most of my physical demanding part of my day is within the first two hours of my shift. I would eat a good fiber or a complex grain (they stay with you longer). Good luck.
  • I just finished the first week and I'm going to move to level 2 today. I think I done with level 1. I am having to do extra to feel anything. Okay I measure myself yesterday and am happy to list my measurements: old/new weight: 160.6/157.6 neck: 14/13.5 waist: 37.5/36.5 hips: 42.5/42 Good Luck to everyone doing this.…
  • A lot of my jeans are getting big (yay!!!) but they are comfy jeans and I hate to see them go. I also had some form fitting t-shirts that are loose now. My Renn costumes were made years ago and now I have to take them in, and even make a new corset because of my weight lose. My old corset was $300 and I haven't found one…

  • If your up for Jillian Michael''s 30 day shred there is one lady in the post that says she's starting next week because she's having surgery this week. http://www.myfitnesspal.com/topics/show/219050-anyone-wanna-start-30-day-shred-with-me I'm training myself and I'm trying to get myself more motivated then I am right now.…
  • I couldn't workout yesterday. I had to go to bed early because I had to be at work at 3 am, Today wasn't bad my arms are the most tired and I'm tired when I crouch down. But I've been doing the E.A. Active and Active 2 for their respective programs. And I've been going between the light workout and the hard workout. I…
  • do you mean no picture or those of us who choose to use a different image? It is a image i took myself, I'd change it but i haven't found anything else that I like better, so for now it's this one.
  • I'd look at your diet and see what your lacking. It sounds like you need more fiber in your diet. and I agree eating prunes would help. I had this problem a few months back and found that my diet was lacking fiber. Prunes help too. Hope you feel better
  • Okay, I couldn't find my DVD but I did do about 15 minutes from what I was on youtube. I don't know if this counts but i'm trying. here are my stats: SW: 160.6 lb, waist: 37.5" neck: 14", hips:42.5" I'll post my weight once a week and my measurements every 2 weeks. Good luck every one.
  • Count me in, I just have to find my dvd. maybe it will keep me in check:tongue:
  • I like using Marzetti Light Raspberry Cabernet Vinaigrette Dressing and a tablespoon of raisins. It's just sweet enough but not super sweet. I also like using red wine vinager & lime juice with dill. Let it sit on the salad and you get a dill pickle taste from the carrots and cucumbers in the salad. You could also try…
  • I agree, they should play nice, but sadly that's not our world. And sometimes the ppl that piss you off can be the motivation to prove them wrong. When ppl I work with tell me I can't lose weight and I'll just put it back on. One co-worker told me I'll get pregnant when I reach my goal and I won't lost it again. BULL my…
  • I don't take Vitamin supplements because I usually get all I need from eating but I do take melatonin to help me sleep at night because of stress. I don't know if your stress is effecting your sleep or not but I do recommend it. I usually have more energy from a good night's sleep.
  • Me myself I'm having baked fish, grilled pepper and cucumber over cut up romaine lettuce and baby spinach leaves.
  • As they've mentioned the BMI uses those terms and is a flawed system used. it can't tell the difference between muscle and fat and if you don't know muscle weighs more then fat. "Size matters not," -Yoda
  • First off, way to go losing way! Second: if you right click the image and select "view image" you can see all of the images.
  • I know what you mean. I'm 4 pounds away from being in the "overweight" instead of "obese." I personally think that the BMI needs to take into account whether you're an active person or not. My ideal weight has me losing another 30 lbs. I haven't been that weight since middle school. I was a cross country runner and track…
  • I've felt the same way and I live in the mideast in the US. Good weather I'm out the door and doing better, but bad weather I'm stuck inside of house and I'm getting cabin fever and I want to do nothing and eat the foods that got me in trouble in the first place.
  • I've come to use other herbs, like dill, rosemary, etc. and hardly use salt at all. You could portion it out and use the seasoning for him and what you like for you if you want. good luck
  • I'm not a mom but maybe change scares her. My I recommend sitting down with her and show her how much your cooked-at-home meals cost vs ready-made meals, you can discuss the health benifits and remind her that you love to cook. maybe you could cut it down to a few cooked meals and first and slowly ween her to more cooked…
  • I find the hardest part is keeping with it for the long run. I like to be active so exercise really isn't a problem. I have a heard time with the food since I love it, and I will admit to going back for seconds when I shouldn't but. I've done better now then I ever have and I have results to prove it.
  • I have a few: Stargate: Atlantis, House, and Merlin are in the top rank right now.
  • I think that you can do it. Try to think of exercise as fun and not a chore or do something that is fun for you to do. I like to dance (or act like an idiot if you ask my co-worker that caught me in the cooler one time at work). At home I just turn on music that motivates me and I'm moving around and sweating up a storm.…
  • Mine is that I have to go to the doctor's office for yearly physical to get a discount on my health insurance. That and I want to loose the weight/mass and keep it off this time. I also changed what I eat and drink because of the dentist. The less pop I drink the better my dentist's bills are. For my health insurance if my…
  • I spend $50-60 (US) just on groceries. Half of that is for fresh produce or what they have good sales that will last me a long time. I'm trying to cut down on it, there is just me and my husband.
  • You can put on muscle weight and still loose mass. i would keep track of your measurements and see what happens there.
  • I like to be barefoot but I don't think that my feet will take the impact of my exercises. I started out doing them barefoot and I ended up getting a heel splint and it took me weeks to get over it. I now wear shoes when I exercise to absorb the impact of the jumps and cardio. I have carpet and home but it's still not…
  • I set up a set date and rough time to weight myself once a week. Weighing myself daily seems counter productive and just gets me down.
  • I'm new to zumba but belly dancing is fun. I would go with a series they had on Fit TV called Shimmy. They break down the moves good and show you how to dance at the end of every episode from what u learned during the show.
