  • Your method is better. Higher weights are better, they just are :) Go heavy or go home ;) I highly recommend checking out the New Rules of Lifting for Women. There are workouts to follow for like a year. It explains very clearly why heavy is the way to go, and why lower weights/higher reps is simply not the way to go.
  • 30g of whey protein mixed with water for maximum muscle building/recovery. It is "predigested" so that it immediately is absorbed without having to break down the macronutrient (protein) into amino acids - your muscles can only use these broken down parts. Skip the digestion and go right for the good stuff!
  • I used Optimum Nutrition 100% Pure Whey Gold Standard (the one you referenced below) for years until I found Dymatize Elite Isolate. I believe they have a "natural" line too. I like it much, much more than the ON (and I've used shakes for 9 years).
