  • I can't believe you've lost all that weight in only 100 days - that's amazing! Well done and congratulations! I'm so glad you had a little nudge to realise your progress. Sometimes it's so easy to be bogged down in how far there is to go that we lose sight of what we've already achieved. Keep up the great work! :)

  • Brilliant! Congratulations! (I don't think those are small things - I think they're really significant tasters of how much more you can accomplish when getting fit and healthy. You're obviously making good progress and that's something to celebrate!) :)
  • Hahaha! I have the exact same problem! I hate those squats with v-lifts - I have to change to smaller weights for those, although in the beginning I couldn't even finish the second set and ended up just doing squats for half of it. I can now do the whole two sets with smaller weights, so there's been some small…
  • Holy mackerel! You all look so incredible - well done! I'll be using some of you as my new 'thinspiration' for getting fit and healthy! :) Natalie x
  • Thank you both so much! Really appreciate the help (I'm such a dunce at times!) :blushing: Natalie x
  • I have no idea why people feel the need to be so antagonistic. Just because someone’s opinion differs with yours, doesn’t mean it’s “bull”. It’s a personal opinion. Everyone is entitled to one. The fact that I don’t like the thought of breastfeeding a child with teeth does not make my opinion inferior to yours. Clearly you…
  • Sorry - I think you've misunderstood me. Let me explain... I realise babies and children ask to be fed from day one - that's why I said 'ask' rather than ask. What I had in mind when I wrote that was a documentary I watched a while ago where a child of about 8 was still being breast fed and was asking her mother for milk.…
  • I'm not a mummy yet, but personally I don't understand why anyone would *want* a child that age sucking on their boob! In my opinion, if the child is old enough to 'ask' for it or bite off a nipple it's too old to have one in it's mouth! :noway: There are plenty of ways to give breast milk without continued breast-feeding!
  • Erm...could you not put the cereal in the bowl at your desk and then go to said fridge for milk?! Surely it's worth the extra effort to do it right!!
  • I set my alarm as usual for my morning work-out but was too sick to do it and went back to bed, so eventually got up for work this morning feeling horrendous and like a massive failure. Went to the wardrobe and pulled out a pair of trousers I wore a couple of weeks ago and they were *huge* on me! I thought I could fix it…
  • Hi! I’m 5’6” and currently 142lbs with a goal of somewhere between 119-130 (haven’t decided yet – I’ll see how I feel when I get to 130). My name’s Natalie. Feel free to add me if you like. :)
  • Ok, maybe this is the OCD side of me, by I'm astonished that nobody seems to have mentioned...what about the inevitable splash back mess from milk first?! Why oh why would anybody do this?! It's asking for trouble! Milk first is wrong on so many levels!! I'm getting a twitch just thinking about it!
  • I have 7 plates so far of all different types – some full nail coverage, some quite small and intricate designs and some nail tip designs. The ones for your full nail are the easiest, but none of them are particularly difficult once you get the hang of it and it’s pretty quick. The only thing I find sometimes is that if I…
  • I absolutely have to have 8 hours sleep. Anything under that and I feel dreadful, anything over that and I feel dreadful! My husband seems to be fine no matter how much or how little sleep he has. I'm intolerant to wheat, gluten, dairy, potato, animal protein and avocado. If I eat any of those things I'll feel…
  • I'm so glad you asked this question - I worked out my max HR before using my HRM and the HRM on the treadmill etc and I was a good way above what my max should have been. I thought I must be about to drop dead, but I wasn't woking as hard as I usually do as I had an injury at the time. This has completely put my mind at…
  • I'm am SO obsessed with painting my nails! I have a kit called Konad NAil Stamping - if you've never heard of it you should look it up. Amazing! :)
  • This has not gone well for me so far! :( I missed the first 4 days as my DVD hadn't arrived, then did 1 day which I enjoyed but found a little disappointing as I didn't find it especially challenging, then I got sick and have spent the last few days throwing up every time I moved so couldn't do any exercise at all. Gutted…
  • Congratulations on deciding to face this - I know it can't be easy, but it's definitely the right decision! One tip I have is to add nuts to your diet. I struggle to eat enough calories at times but my nutritionist suggested eating nuts on those days because they're high in calories and good fats, which means you don't…
  • I just started this morning, but I'm a bit disappointed - it wasn't anywhere near as hard as I expected. Did anyone else find this?! I'm hoping I might start feeling the burn after a few days of it, but I might go straight to level 2 otherwise. I did build up a good sweat though and I struggled a little bit with the last…
  • Woohoo! Looks like my DVD etc has finally arrived so I can get started tomorrow, albeit a few days late. Yippee! :) Hope the first 3 days have gone ok for everyone!
  • It might be worth trying soya yogurts. They taste quite different to dairy. I love plain soya yogurt over strawberries or bananas, but you can also get fruit flavoured ones and chocolate soya desserts which are lovely! :)
  • I haven't read the other replies as I'm in a hurry to reply before leaving my desk, but I have the same problem if I eat things I'm intolerant to. Have you been tested for anything like food intolerances or celiac disease? If not it might be worth asking for tests. If I stick to an intolerance-free diet I can usually go…
  • I actually thought this was a joke with the help of some photoshop magic for a couple of minutes. Holy mackerel! That really is amazing. Well done and congratulations!! :)
  • What a beautiful post! That really brought a tear to my eye. Congratulations on your incredible achievement - you deserve it! I love that your victory was for such a wonderful cause as well. I've been a right misery today but this has totally put a smile back on my face! Also, you look amazing! :) Natalie x
  • I definitely wouldn't mention her weight! That's probably a disaster waiting to happen. I think the trick is to find something active she enjoys and then make time to do it together. My hubby went through a real couch potato phase and didn't want to do *anything* active. Then Wimbledon started and while we were watching it…
  • I'm definitely in...as long as the DVD arrives in time!! I'm ordering the box set from Amazon. Can't wait to get started!! :D Natalie x
  • Barnaby Biggins 5 year old Bichon Frise My best buddy & running partner! :D x
  • Wowee! You're amazing. So strong and such an inspiration! I think your mum would be proud of all you've achieved - you're absolutely beautiful and doing incredibly well. I have no doubt you'll achieve your ultimate goal if you've come this far already! :) Natalie x

  • I'm *supposed* to be wheat/gluten free and on a vegan diet. I haven't been sticking to it the last few weeks, but when I was I ate a lot of variety. I think that's the key. When I first started a wheat-free vegan diet I only knew a few recipes but as you experiment and find new things it becomes quite exciting and your…
