I used to use the metric system, as my schooling is British, but all the MFP people on here had me converting! =D

I salute you. But, it IS generally better to eat at least 1200 cals a day.

Definitely organic broccoli and mushrooms- they're my favourite veggies. =D Great choice in adding more organic foods to your diet. :flowerforyou:

Thanks. I'll try that. Here's to hoping it works!

THIS!!! There, this above should end the argument. Everyone should educate themselves and then argue. And no, I'm not judging anyone. It's just fact that you have to know what you're talking about to make a point.

Oh my God. No, this should never be on here! Even though you're trying to show us the negative aspects of such a diet, you don't know how many people may actually follow this. As a recovering anorexic, I'm telling you that this is so wrong. People, argue about this okay but don't post this here! This is supposed to be a…

There, she's said it all. Bodies are different. A person that needs 1000 calories a day is definitely NOT the same as someone who requires 1500 to feel human and those who need around 2500 to gain weight, such as people with an ED or recovering from an illness. Everyone's different, and we shouldn't try to fit ourselves…

Thank you! I hope so too

I used to be like that and it led to me developing an eating disorder, anorexia nervosa. It's true, diets such as the ABC Diet and the Skinny Girl Diet are horrible- they lead to so many problems, the first of which being EDs. You don't NEED a psychiatrist, but it's recommended, because then you'll get the help you need,…

More than 2000 calories a day? That's definitely a lot for one day. :ohwell: It can be done though, and I will. :grumble:

@love4fitnesslove4food thank you. I won't let it bring me down. I'm trying my hardest, honest. @psulemon according to the calculator, my TDEE is 2009. Another calculator says it's 2019. Does that mean I'll have to eat more than 1500 calories a day? @Sarauk2sf thanks for the support. Yes, females do tend to…

18% BF and she's considered overweight? That trainer is most definitely a crook. It's not hard to see why so many people suffer from eating disorders these days. I will, thanks. There are a lot of doctors in my life right now. Oh, what I wouldn't give to be healthy and normal! I've learned to not trust the scale. It's the…

Thank you! :) I'll keep that in mind.

Thank you and will do!

An ED is more mental than physical. 97 lbs is my latest weight in recovery right now. But I would get weak just by climbing a few steps, run out of breath doing simple tasks and faint sometimes. I was almost always dizzy and developed anemia. Also, I had severe vitamin D deficiency and other deficiencies in calcium and…

At this point I've refused to go to the doctor, but I'm working with a psychiatrist, a councilor and my doctor parents. They recommend a weight gain of around 10 pounds right now, and that's in addition to the other 9 I had gained since beginning recovery.

Thank you so much for the helpful replies. I can't spend a day without exercising for at least 30 minutes now, so I'd say I'm pretty active most of the week. I think it would be better to raise the % of muscle and decrease the fat, correct?

I'm 5'2.5" and am 97 pounds, sometimes 95 pounds depending on how I ate that week. Anorexia recovery. Goal weight: 105-110, at first.

Just started Level 1 today, I'll be on the last of my Level 1 10 days by May 1st, so count me in! It's horribly tough, yet amazing as well. :)
