Sorry ladies - I know quite a few gynae consultants and the one thing they all have in common is the reason why, from all the specialisms they could choose (ophthalmology to orthopaedics to A&E), they chose Gynae! They love their work!

Ok - the first options says either you are barking mad or that you have a great sense of humour. My response would be to drop down on one knee and propose! I would still be no closer to finding out whether you had a sense of humour or were barking mad, but if I had asked to buy you a drink it would be because you are…

Can't see why eating your girlfriend would be so crazy, that should be part of your 5-a-day, although possibly not whilst driving! ...... in a restaurant was a bumblebee - sting removed, a chocolate covered scorpion and deep fried locusts, all from a fabulous London restaurant called Archipelago. Nicer than I thought!

My friend doesn't like you, I don't like you

It's like what my painter friend Donald said to me "Stick a fork in their *kitten* and turn them over, they're done"

Great post and excellent progress. I started off with many of the same approaches partly because I didn't think I could keep up a strict diet 7 days a week and because county little victories keeps me motivated and stops me falling back into bad habits. At weekends I like to eat fun with my family and drink a few glasses…

Oh God, where to start! I love the old paper style reading matter but that's not the debate: You haven't narrowed down a genre so here are some names/ideas Ian Rankin (Rebus), Robert Crais (Cole and Pike), Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse or Grave Secret series), Steig Larsson (girl with dragon tattoo, etc) Tess…

Two things: The first is a New Yorker desktop calendar my wife bought me here in the UK! Why? Because in a few weeks my wife and I will be touching down in the big apple to celebrate her 40th birthday! Midtown and downtown restaurant recommendations gratefully received and for a week MFP will take a back seat! The second…

Learning to fly is easy, all you have to do is throw yourself at the ground and.............. miss!

But I have told you before, I will do anything for love, but I won't do that!

tandoori is best as has no sauce, boiled rice, or go for sheekh or shami kebabs with salad and yoghurt and mint dressing (forget what is called). Failing that, tomato based sauces are best and spicy sauces increase metabolism so madras is a good one (or at least that is what I tell myself)

Another visual, it made my wife laugh. 9lbs since I started using MFP. That's the same as my son weighed when he was born. I've had a baby! Although if it took her as long to give birth as it's taken me to lose this weight, we would all be in trouble and of course my baby was A LOT less painful!
