I can dance in ways that embarrass my daughter much more than my fat waddle and all without thinking I will need to replace my knees. My balance is so much better!

I know what it says on the bottle but I have never refrigerated ketchup. The people that refrigerate ketchup are the lambs of society and will be the first for the chop when the time comes. Besides, look at me, not refrigerating ketchup never did me harm.

It's not the xbox or the tv that makes a child obese, it's their whole lifestyle. Calories in v calories out. I game with my son and he will also game on his own. In moderation. We do loads of other stuff too from the active to inactive. Consoles are a part of most kids lives and it's what he and his friends talk about a…

This is called mirroring. We often do it subconsciously with people we like or find attractive. I would not worry about trying to do it in an interview, it can look false and you can get it wrong. Why do something different now when they like what they have already seen, which is you! Just be yourself. You are going to be…

Does it matter? Each person gets their own thing out of reading and/or contributing. You cannot codify emotions.

There are some really moving posts on here, truly humbling. And at the same time, inspiring, because each person I come across who has the courage and determination to deal with their food demons gives me a little more strength to do it for myself. Thank you all for sharing. I would order a pancake roll and a portion of…

There has been lots of sensible advice on here and some of it I may well use when I move job in a month. However, perhaps you could try one of the following which I guarantee will last you as long as you work there. 1 Tell them you are allergic to nuts and cannot take the risk. This has the drawback that you cannot ever…

You are just the girl I am looking for

The girls who stole your id will be very easy to find. Just go down the gym and look for someone who looks like you but with breasts. It's your photo id they are using after all. But then that says something about just how lovely these gals were.

My profile pic is not me although the likeness is uncanny. I'm sure nobody will notice the difference

I use flaxseed - put it on my cereal. Looking them up on the food database the first main difference I can see is the fibre content.

You wont be the first and you wont be the last to do have done this. Sooo many people do the same. But it's clicked for you now and you know you have to keep at it until it becomes a way of life. And you will do that. Just got to take that first step again, knowing this time it is for the last time

Beautifully written and truly an inspiration. Well done for what you have achieved so far. It's quite often the first steps that are the hardest to take and you are now on your way to a healthier and happier life. I'm in awe and hoping that when you get to 400, 350, 300, 250...... we will be treated to such an eloquent…

We do a mixture of things but the key is plan as much as you can for the week ahead: 1 - cook in batches and freeze/refrigerate 2 - choose quick cook veg - stuff that can be steamed in 10 mins or microwaved (rice and pots particularly) 3 - choose non-cook meals - salads, 10 mins to prepare. 4 - use a slow cooker - just…

There have a lot of valuable comments/observations so I am not sure I can add much, but I wondered... What's he eating when you go out? Does he encourage you to eat bad stuff or drink when you go out? You don't mention this but it might give a bit more of an insight into his motivations. At the end of it all though there…

It is easy to let someone insignificant have an impact upon us. You are doing great things for yourself and for those you love and love you. His comments were as insignificant and immature as he was and you should only afford him the time he deserves, which is none whatsoever.

You don't mention how much water you are drinking. Dehydration may be a cause and whilst you are cutting out the caffiene you don't mention whether you are keeping your fluid intake up with water/milk/juice/squash. Particularly important if you are exercising. I

He forgot - he made a mistake! He certainly did. He forgot the difference between an adult and a child (not that he should talk to a child like that either). Tweaking the vault gets my vote.
